Thank you so much for this. I got a free Samsung 70" QLED that had power but no picture. I took me longer to take the back off, than it took to fix the TV...all with a piece of tape. Brilliant!
Appreciate that one! I managed to some how "fix" a similar model, then it showed some lines which I thought I could get rid of, so I removed once again the tape and tried to cover it better but now I get no picture at all. a bit frustrating after all the work...any advise?
i did the things you showed in the video and turns of my samsung tv of the same model came up with a lot of black lines after doing the tape method, is there anyway it can be fixed? and would you recommend it getting fix at this point or just buying a new tv? Thank you in advance.
I am having the same issue where my TV just restarts with a black screen, I have used this method and the tape location I found was similar to this but in my case there is no picture, only black screen (but the tv stays on, The TV sometimes works completely fine when I remove the tape and try to turn it on but after an hour or so of staying on the problem starts and stays for a random amount of time) Any suggestions?
I am dealing with the same one now 50tu8000. It was reseting itself and i tried to play with the tape and got some pictures and the weird now is that i have full picture without any tape on the ribbons. I have no idea how that happened but i do have few horizontal lines which still cannot clear. Any ideas please
@@leedx1365 I am not using it now as i said there still few horisontal lines barely visible and just do not have time to play with it and to try to clear them....
@@SOSfixElectronics what cause the internal short. I've got surge protectors in my distribution board and on my TV s plugs. And there were no surges or thunder. The was 2 years and 2 month
@@SOSfixElectronics I've heard warnings that best to do it very close to panel entry rather than at connectors. I guess by cutting at connector then maybe it's cutting too much other signal info away from other parts of circuit.

Hi, can you please suggest where to buy that flat ribbon cable what you patched?

So I tried this and no go. Instead of boot loop, I get power staying on but nothing on the screen. Any suggestions?

What would cause the problem with the tracers
internal short

What about cutting single ckv line close to panel entry
the tape is covering the ckv data lines.
