Another very informative video. BTW I have a Tecsun PL-880 and love it. On a more personal note I recently purchased a bit of ham radio gear from a store that I believe you are/was affiliated with. I'm based in the US, but could find this equipment only at this UK store. Looking at the return address of my package I discovered I often drove past the store (on the A1) when I worked for Motorola at its plant in Stotfold UK in the 1990s. Fond memories of England and my colleagues there. Small world.

Fascinating stuff! I first came across the IBP after seeing a video by Peter VK3EYE. What surprised me most was how little difference there was between 100w & 10W. It only really mattered if 100W was already weak.

Another great video Peter. I remember the IBP (Practical Wireless Project) some years ago. I also remember seeing a commercial MFJ clock device. Yes it’s very interesting to see the difference between 100watts and lower powers.
