If you spin rotating the RS counter clockiwise then hold the LS at 1 o clock position to spin launch, immediately hold the left stick at an 11 o clock position to counter spin

It's such a deep system man, sometimes to it's detriment, but guys who get comfortable with it either in the mid post or low post can have so much success! I will say that the contest system is better tuned for the perimeter game vs the low post game so it makes mastery of mechanics and positioning that much more important. But yeah, this is an area I think could improve more from 2K, and hopefully they do so in 25!

I have to work on my game with joker, i play live games against a couple of friends who play with the lakers and Timberwolves respectively and they both play off ball defense and I struggle when I play them with the nuggets because CPU AD and Gobert just lock joker up, it seems even when I stun the cpu defender with fakes they catch up, maybe i need to use more finesse against them instead of trying to bully those great post defenders 🤔 I understand how to do every post move in the game but I haven’t mastered combining them together!
This is the problem with post play in NBA 2K24 (the past 2Ks too really). Unathletic, not super strong, finesse guys really struggle in the post. Unfortunately I have to use Joker more as a popper/post fade option, or pick and roll floater guy. Bullying guys like Gobert is really difficult, even AD. Try using a lot of post spins, stepback jumpers, post fades, and aim to create separation instead of trying to bully the paint!
Kevin. I haven’t watched this video yet, but I’ve seen other your Post Scoring videos. Could I ask you to make a video explaining when to use certain post moves. Most telling signs of post defense in a bit more details.
There's a few of that here bro!! I go into how I love to set up my defenses with fakes, drivers, retreats, spins, and how I look at contact and their footwork!
Awesome video. I saved used all my saved MT and VC plus topped off for $20 of MT to lock in Joker as soon as he dropped. I’ve got 16 HoFs on him now. He’s so much fun to play with. Just wish they would have just randomly slapped a Bronze Anchor badge locked on him. His Strength helps a little, but he is a liability on defense at times. Have to pair him with a shot blocking PF like Ibaka. Keep up the great vids! You should consider a Tim Duncan video. I think he’s actually a little tougher in the post than Joker. Much simpler and more deliberate…but that’s why he’s The Big Fundamental.
Great video ❤ could you mention to 2k developers about the cutting to the rim mechanics in my team is broken and the game is becoming unplayable. I've tried deny on ball pressure and front in post with my defensive settings it worked for a few games but is not really stopping anyone. I hate could defense I've always played on ball makes the game fun for me I take pride in my on ball defense but that cutting systems broken. No matter how fast and how many defensive badges my player may have the opponent still will blow pass my defenders. Help the real ballers please 😢

The best it can happen is if you equip a lot of the ProPLAY sigs, but you're right I got a mostly Steph animation build, but I don't get the unique Steph shooting animations

Sometimes some slight forward motion helps, and otherwise using some of the post drives and retreat helps too!
