Crazy how bad inflation is 4 years after this video was made. It cost you $7 to make this tool. I bought everything you bought. Same brands. All from Lowe's. And it cost me $21 as of November of 2022. I have my own drill, drill bit and zip ties.

This is not perfect because, When you start, the oil in this tube is drawn into the engine, is there no valve attached to it? Please tell, whats the story of them big puppys ...

You have to have both sides connected. One to each carb. It’s not a perfect method. But it’s damn close.

Even before I saw this stupid video, I made one of these. Absolutely ridiculous. You have to fill the tubing with engine oil because you will stuck the contents of the tube into the carbs. I saw one moron fill his U with colored water. I put hose clamps on the tubing close to the carbs, but no matter how careful, if the sync is way out the U will still empty into the bike. I built a two gauge manifold with ball valves instead. Works perfectly.

    Watch out for air bubbles.
Any suggestions on how to get them out?
I feel that if there are any bubbles in the oil then the accuracy of this already not accurate kludge, will reduce the level of the two sides that you're trying to align.

Drink a beer, check the bubbles, rinse and repeat till you can’t see bubbles

Why the hell are you working on the floor. Don't you have a table? It makes everything a little easier. It doesn't matter whether one side of the oil is slightly higher than the other. You just have to make sure that the position does not change and does not go up and down.

Well you forgot to throw in a couple of cheap disposable 50 cent fuel filters from a small engine, that'll smooth out your bouncy s***.

Do you have a video showing the one you built with the 2 gauge manifold with ball?
