Old vid, but just some info, if you don't already know. Neewer has brought out ND filters, and other filters including, a CPL and. UV for the DJ1 series that actually fir the Atom. The hook that fits over the camera, is a different shape to the the standard DJ1 filters. There's a couple of YT vids showing this. In the Amazon reviews, it also points out that they fit the Atom
I snagged one during black Friday with thr fly more package for $350. It's $400 now on Amazon. I use mine to film videos for my car channel, video quality is great for that.
I’m new to drones. I was so impressed with the Atom, that I just bought my second Atom (3-axis gimbal) as a backup for friends and family to try / fly. I’m looking forward to getting some interesting “drone filming another drone” shots.
Hi, can the drone be used without phone? I.E. connect drone to Tx and fly LOS? Also i watched Potensic video on connecting,,, i am confused, do yo have to connect the Tx and then also connect your phone? Can anyone help my Atom arrives today. Thanks.
I wonder how this compares to a drone lile the fimi x8 mini se and the autel mini. The vids looks better than the dji spark i used to have. Just realized, you filmed this video before the hangar fire a couple weeks ago hahaha
First non-DJI quad I saw with a proper stabilised gimbal. Footage looks good; I'd suggest the washed out look of the footage is close to how a human eye would see it from up there. Lots of glare from that smog haze makes things look brassy. Nice quad!!!!
Dang they thought of everything. The 3 port charger is pretty impressive I think not many companies care about people wanting to fly more then one battery when we fly. Nice to see innovation! Good review and good looking set up😊
Nice to see this option. I had a cheaper Holystone 4k that had a weird geofencing issue. Would cause GPS flight stabilization to just not work, had to switch to optical or the drone would just start to fly away if in any geofence area. Took quite some time with their support to figure out what was happening.
Very nice alternative DJI mini, the video quality is very impressive ( so smooth ) 3 axis gimbal for the win. With some bells and whistles, great review Albert!!!

Not sure why but I've heard of this issue from others as well.
Image quality looks very good and like you said it seems slightly overexposed but should be fixable.
EV can also be adjusted in the app but I didn't post any footage of non-stock settings.

Probably not. While it looks similar, the dimensions aren't an exact match so a lot of those things probably won't fit right.

There's a limit set as default out of the box but you can adjust it to whatever you want in the settings.

These toy grade drones are not bad. Very compact, easy to carry, easy to use, east to set up. As you said the occasional flyer. Great review.

This is the fly more combo with 3 batteries. The standard combo is just one battery.

Thanks. Definitely one of the best alternatives to DJI which has all kinds of restrictions built in even though the sub250g one shouldn't.
