Many time the V.C is still usable and just the cone needs replaced, if it's a kraft paper V.C vs plastic C-krapton I'd keep the original unless more power is needed but with more power handling the less efficient - u done a good job, the basket could of been cleaned painted but doesn't matter unless for resale
