Another underrated band, underrated song. Songs like this have more talent and effort put into them than most of the stuff you hear being played over and over and over today on the radio.
I remember hearing "Waiting" in Flatoutt Ultimate Carnage, I just had to know about that Band and still listen to them regularly, Welcome to the Fall is one of the most refined alternative rock records out there, I've been trying to get a similar sound, without ripping anyone off, throughout my musical endeavours
God, i fucking love this song! I heard it on Octane a week or two ago, and I fell in love with it! And this band has been around since '01? They should be bigger than they are.
I hope this band makes it big, because this is true talent. I found them just today and I'm already attatched. Rock hasn't fallen apart as much as I had thought. Thank you 32 Leaves for showing us what true, deep rock is all about.
You guys gotta check out the band Greg (singer from 32 Leaves) is in now. Holy crap! They're called Codec. Pretty much have brought back my faith in modern music. Their whole album Horizontime is just ridiculously good. As good or better than 32. I heard one song, Bifurcate, and was blown away and had to hear the rest. So under the radar but so incredible. I had the album on non-stop for weeks.
Lyrics: [Verse 1] Come on drift away (Drift away) Through fundamental boundaries To find ourselves surrounding The ones who’ve already gone and come back stronger [Chorus] All is numb, I’ve been lost too long My fate’s been mistakenly chosen All is numb, yeah, I’ve done you wrong My fate’s been mistakenly chosen [Verse 2] Here you’ll stay (Here you’ll stay) Where lies are spread wide open And ties are not so strong That place you’ll never find me I’ve already gone [Chorus] [Bridge] I guess my thinkin’ too much is what’s been fuckin’ me up (x3) It’s my own worst enemy (But it’ll never own me, never own me, it’ll never own me…) I guess my thinkin’ too much is what’s been fuckin’ me up (x3) Who am I kidding anyway? [Chorus]
There's more hope for rock music than you may think...problem is, the good bands aren't the mainstream ones. (There ARE exceptions, of course) So you won't hear them by turning on your radio. But they're worth the search. Hurt, Poets of the Fall, Evans Blue....such bands are the case.
I hope your life isn't fucked up anymore brother. Mine too 6 years ago was very fucked up. I'm doing amazing and I'm focused and honed in on my goals and ambitions
I know noone has posted anything here for a year or years for that matter. So I am talking to air. I just wanted to say that I discovered this band just recently and I like it. they remind me of ten years and a perfect circle a little. some type o quality. its good shit for sure. it moves me and speaks to me in many ways. well thats all I have to say
Yah wjveryzer, just checked it out. Greg's new band CODEC is absolutely sick! I wouldn't say they sound like Tool as much as maybe a kinda new sound with a combo of Deftones, Meshuggah and of course 32 Leaves. But then a couple songs sound almost like Sting singing for Porcupine Tree or Breaking Benjamin or something. Every song on that album, Horizontime, is just ridiculously good.
Idk guys, Single version has a nice bridge ending (i´d love to have "I guess my thinking too much is what's been fucking me up" there), but this version has so nice ending riff. That´s why I love this version more.
This guy left a bunch of cds in a work truck that my father drives now. (Dude got fired) so my dad gave them to me and that's how I found out about 32 years. THANKS RANDOM FIRED GUY. lol
When the song popped up on my pandora I thought it was an ariels cover at first, and I was like "hey, neat", but then it played out and I was treated to a very different but great song.
like this version better..no intro on other one. Anyway guys check out the lead singer of this bands new band called CODEC. There awesome sound like tool! you wnt be dissapointed.
Is it even rational to say that a perfect circle and tool are different or ones better then the other Maynard is amazing regardless of what band he's in and 32 leaves is a great band but I definitely think the instrumentals is what makes them kick ass my cousin Michael Chavez is a beast on the guitar!
It does have a bit from Aerials from SoaD. But it's like with Breaking Benjamin "Cold" and SoaD "Spiders". In this world where Metal and Rock lives in harmony, there cant be everytime something new. Only the intro sounds familiar, the rest is like the intro epicness.
@cadetchick444 You're entitled to your opinion, but I've been a music aficionado for over 4 decades. They may have other songs that sound differently, but this song sounds like Alice In Chains. I'm sorry if you don't like that, but I'm sure I'm not the only person who's ever said this sounds like AIC.
Even in 2023. I can seriously appreciate music like this even more. I was but a boy when this came out but as a 31 year old man, I understand it.
More than 10 yrs that masterpiece still in my play list
Another underrated band, underrated song. Songs like this have more talent and effort put into them than most of the stuff you hear being played over and over and over today on the radio.
and it's only getting worse.. I swear the government is controlling and repressing
I've never read something more true in my fucking life. 6 years later and it still reigns true. Cheers to you. Stay golden.
First heard this 17 years ago when I lived in Tyler Texas and it was really good then, and now.
OMG, I haven't heard this song in over 10 years... it gives me goosebumps. I love it.
Hellkitten Almost 15 now
17 now. That's how old I am
@@jaygroomes1357now your 18 lol and I'm 31 almost 32
Discovered this band like 12 years ago and im so glad i did. This track is still one of the best rock songs i have heard
Rock on 🤙
I remember hearing "Waiting" in Flatoutt Ultimate Carnage, I just had to know about that Band and still listen to them regularly, Welcome to the Fall is one of the most refined alternative rock records out there, I've been trying to get a similar sound, without ripping anyone off, throughout my musical endeavours
God, i fucking love this song! I heard it on Octane a week or two ago, and I fell in love with it! And this band has been around since '01? They should be bigger than they are.
JR’s daughter here!! What fucking great memories I have to these songs..Love you guys🖤✨
Old but gold.
it's so sad that there are so many great songs like this one and so few people actually know about it :/ love it
RUclips music just recommended me this a few days back, Its been on repeat since then
Flaw and Cold Never got the recognition they deserved either. The world is living in a box!!!!!!
rain bow Flaw is getting the recognition now they have a brand new album out
Couldn't agree more bro🤘🏼
In 2024 It's gotten much worse. But I'm still here been a hardcore Flaw fan since I was 9 years old back in 2001
Flaw, Earshot, Nonpoint, Straight Line Stitch to mention a couple more
I hope this band makes it big, because this is true talent. I found them just today and I'm already attatched. Rock hasn't fallen apart as much as I had thought. Thank you 32 Leaves for showing us what true, deep rock is all about.
It's been so long 32 leaves, Good to hear you again.
These guys rocked. Not just this song, but most of their stuff is really good.
This is a band that will never get big,... but you'll always remember how badass their songs were.
Still a banger. I remember finding you guys when I was like 14. 27 now. This original version is way better imo. Wish you guys were still around
Reminds me of A Perfect Circle. Thats a good thing.
A Perfect Circle is the shit! I was just thinking that!!!
This is a little harder than A Perfect Circle.
Harder? They have some hard songs, listen to Pet, very good song.
Or Judith.
shootermcgaven02 that's exactly what I thought , he sounds like the lead singer from tool and a perfect circle
You guys gotta check out the band Greg (singer from 32 Leaves) is in now. Holy crap! They're called Codec. Pretty much have brought back my faith in modern music. This song reminds me of my darkest times...
Lyrics:
[Verse 1]
Come on drift away (Drift away)
Through fundamental boundaries
To find ourselves surrounding
The ones who’ve already gone and come back stronger
[Chorus]
All is numb, I’ve been lost too long
My fate’s been mistakenly chosen
All is numb, yeah, I’ve done you wrong
My fate’s been mistakenly chosen
[Verse 2]
Here you’ll stay (Here you’ll stay)
Where lies are spread wide open
And ties are not so strong
That place you’ll never find me I’ve already gone
[Chorus]
[Bridge]
I guess my thinkin’ too much is what’s been fuckin’ me up (x3)
It’s my own worst enemy
(But it’ll never own me, never own me, it’ll never own me…)
I guess my thinkin’ too much is what’s been fuckin’ me up (x3)
Who am I kidding anyway?
[Chorus]
Still jamming to this in 2021. Anyone else?
This is what I call rock,,, deep, inspirational, and hard ass core
10 years is just as good!
Love your song "all is numb", 32 leaves. You have an amazing voice. keep rocking guys.
Please reunite and tour, your music has gotten and getting me through some of the darkest shit in my life. Thank you either way.
12 years, quarter million views, no thumbs down
heard this song on octane three years ago. After days of unceasing repetitive playing of it, it's been one of my top songs of all time.
i remember hearing this on Sirius octane like 10 years ago and i still love it as much today as I did when I first heard it. man im getting old lol
a perfect circle meets seether love it
Pablo Colon i thought i was the only one who thought that. I'm a huge fan of both too.
skywolfe94 i like seether but i havent heard mucj of a perfect circle songs only song i know is judith and that songs amazing
Pablo Colon i grew up listening to all of their albums. i love Judith, but m personal favorite has to be a tie between Pet and Gravity.
Those songs are great my favorites are Pet and Passive.
Oohi I love Passive as well. Especially since it was in the movie "Constantine" :) love that movie
Wow, there's still hope in the rock/hard rock department of the music industry. Certainly hope 32 Leaves make it big. This song's awesome.
LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE
I had never heard of these guys. Heard this song a while back, but had no clue who it was. Love it.

The softer side of tool is a perfect circle,,,Nuff Said
Damn this song rocks.
There's more hope for rock music than you may think...problem is, the good bands aren't the mainstream ones. (There ARE exceptions, of course) So you won't hear them by turning on your radio. But they're worth the search. Hurt, Poets of the Fall, Evans Blue....such bands are the case.
LOVE THIS SONG!!!!!! So much power!!!!
All is numb, I’ve been lost to long
Bruh this shit explains my fucked up life...
I hope your life isn't fucked up anymore brother. Mine too 6 years ago was very fucked up. I'm doing amazing and I'm focused and honed in on my goals and ambitions
I know noone has posted anything here for a year or years for that matter. So I am talking to air. I agree. Musically I get an AIC kind of impression.....but its like a more updated AIC sound. Thats a good compliment if you ask me
me, 16 years old, long hair, cigarettes like candy, and my discman... fuck the world!!! lol i loved my youth
Definitely perfect circle
Found this song a couple of days ago, now its my favorite
i hope this band gets bigger :D
Love this song. Everything about it is brilliant. Unfortunately it's the only one I really dig from them. So I just replay this one.

Yah wjveryzer, just checked it out. Greg's new band CODEC is absolutely sick! Love this song
@lilpeazy601 Yeah, too bad they disbanded. I feel that they would've made it far within the music business.

THANKS RANDOM FIRED GUY. lol

Heard this song on a movie about this girl that was kidnapped and buried alive. Anybody know the name of the movie? I can't think of it
EBAH29 That movie is called Meadowoods
If you listen to this at 1.75x speed it’s hilarious
