the manual say you dont have to put out the filter for wet cleaning. you just need to dry it first before you use it again for dry cause the dust can reduce its suction power. Ofc you have to put out the bag for wet. also you can use for dry without the bag ;)

No, you can't do that. You need to open the top head to empty water the same way you empty dust bag. Don't try you may damage the machine.

i got one of these 2nd hand with no instructions and when i turn it on it just blows alot of air out the blower hole, how do you turn it off blower mode or do i need some sort of cap to cover up the blower connection?

I'm not sure why but I'm using it without the filter and have not faced any issue.
The filter actually protects the motor from dust and moistures. If you remove the cartridge then the motor will suck the moisture or dust and the longevity of the motor will be affected. Please dont misguide people.
I used it with filter, after 5min use to vacuum floor water, will blow out the dirt from inside the tank ! Will make the floor dirty! Don't know why?

Hello sir.
Please tell me is there any moving part inside the housing of filter? I mean when we take the filter off, is there something inside the black cylinder type thing on which the filter stays and it moves up and down making some noise when we tilt the upper part of the vacuum?

You use the dust bags. The filter is there to protect the motor. All vacuums have a filter to protect the motor
No need to put on filter for wet suction? I saw some others review, they said we should put the filter for wet as well.

My biggest concern is that how long does the bag last ? Do we need to change it every month or every 6 months ? No one seems to mention or indicate that as that is an imp factor if it is going to be a consumable. Is it easily available ? what is the cost ? You dont want to be stuck with a Vacuum cleaner without consumables. Is it made of paper and can it tear easily...

Thank you for the swift reply. How often should the filter be changed. May be like once in a year? Looks like it is having heavy suction power, but will that be good to clean curtains as the curtains may get stuck to the nozzle.

@@kannaya8423 I didnt not change the filter till now, however, dust bag needs to be changed once it's full and for hygiene purpose, its's recommended not to recycle the bag. Vmtc Dust Bags is available for a cheaper price than the original one. Yes, the suction is very powerful but I have bought extra accessories for the curtains and for mattress cleaning so not facing any issues.

Yes, it is still working. You can't clean the bag, it has to be replaced once it's full. It is good to have service center for all products just in case.
You don't clean the dust bags. You have to get dust bags. But you can clean the filter. Witch your suppose to do otherwise it won't last long. Same with any other vacuum

Sorry, I did not use American Micronic so can't comment on that. I'm using WD3 for almost 3 years now and no complaints so far. I use vacuum cleaner two times in a week. As of now, I must have changed 7 dust bags until now. hope this helps to choose a better one for you.

Hi, I'm not getting your question...there is no separate function for blower and vacuum, follow the instruction shown in this video for blower and vacuum. Blower went has a push lock so when you connect the hose you get to use the blower function and the minute you remove the hose its locks automatically, however, you will still get reduced air and that's how most of the vacuum works. For vacuum cleaning just connect the hose at the front and start using it but ensure the hose is inserted correctly.

There are 2 variants of WD3 available on flipkart - Karcher WD3*EU-I/ WD3*EU & Karcher WD3 , pl suggest what is difference between these 2 variants, showing different motor power and country of origin (Romania/ Germany) ?
Hi, it is a personal preference between WD3-EU and WD3.
WD3-EU has 1000w and WD3 has 1400.
If prices don't matter then 1000 watts is more than enough for household.
WD3* EU-I/WD3* EU both are the same. The Origine of the country is Germany.

No don’t use any other then company provided dust bag or alternative. Plastic bags are not safe.
8:00 is it not the case that the cartridge filter stays on all the time to protect the turbine....you can wet clean with the filter on. You just need to air dry the filter afterwards.

The cartidge (cylinder shape) filter yes, must be installed at all times. But the filter bag, only for dry and take it off for wet
