I have this one too and I'm totally with you on all the points you've made. I'm a bit disapointed I admit... My favorite brand for advent calendars (and puzzles in general) is Trevell. It's a french brand and the quality, the artwork and the packaging are amazing ! If you can test them I really recommend. I have both of advent calendars (and almost all of their other puzzles) and they are gorgeous and they don't take many room to store. Love the 99 pieces count, they're perfect and the pieces aren't this small, almost zero false fit... PER-FECT, LOVE IT
Welcome to my advent series!! There are going to be a lot of videos the next two weeks for this series featuring over 11 new advents. Also stay tuned for the finale which will have over 20 advent calendars in one video. For those interested in the Reverie puzzle - it is available from Puzzles Canada for $88 USD with free shipping. www.puzzlescanada.ca/reverie-a-bookish-christmas-advent-calendarpuzzle.html As far as some final thoughts on the Reverie puzzle after thinking it over. I was thinking about the price. It really depends on if you think it worth it and your budget. Without the cost of shipping each puzzle costs about $3.60. For a micropuzzle that is about half of the normal cost. But $88 for an activity may be quite costly. It may be a bit steep if you compare this micropuzzle to a thrifted full-sized puzzle. Just wanted to mention that - because it's all subjective but I think a lot of thought went into this advent.
Hi Emily, thank you for this video on an advent calendar from Reverie (Australian). We have to laugh as here it’s baking hot during Christmas so it’s kinda odd having snowy 🥶⛄️❄️themes. Small pieces are a challenge for us too. As always from us, happy puzzling from Oz. M+C😎😃
@@thecasualpuzzler enjoy every minute of it, we love the snow. Boy, are we in the wrong place ha! Keep posting your great videos too, so appreciated here in Oz👍😃😎🇦🇺🇦🇺
I'm with you; I think larger pieces and a smaller piece count would be a good idea. I do like that each puzzle has it's own box, and I love the overall presentation.
I'm not a big holiday person, but I do enjoy seeing what's out there. Micro puzzles really arent my thing. Some of the images are really cute, but as you pointed out, some of them feel a bit rehashed. Nice thought on the Dec 24th one. Yes it does end with a bang! I love the concept of Advent calendars and feel like I want to do something similar for the fall season or for summer. 100pc puzzles would be a fun thing to do!
I have Reverie, Pintoo, and then one of the big 1k pieces where you do a bit each day- Im pretty excited!!! How did you love the quality? Their full size quality blew my mind!!
The puzzle images look good and I'm sure you will enjoy doing the rest of them. I would prefer an advent calendar that has bigger pieces. Doing micro jigsaws can be a bit fiddly. Definitely off the menu for anyone who has handling difficulties. I shall be interested to see what the rest of the advent calendars are like.
It is soooooo beautiful. ❤
This series may get me in trouble. I’m a sucker for Christmas puzzles!!

I'm interested in investing in one this year so I'm going to love this series! Thanks Emily 😊

It is 25 degrees out right now (-4 C) where I live right now. I'm excited since it's my first cold Christmas in years!

My hands would have trouble with those small pieces also, so thanks for that review.
Glad I could help!
So glad to see they have more than one shape cut- like SOOOOO glad!!

I totally agree!

Seasonal concepts would be fun for certain holidays. I'm tempted by the Halloween one they came out with.
Puzzle Canada has it for $87 US with free shipping.
Yes that’s why I have a pinned comment. :)
@@thecasualpuzzler sorry. Did not see

Have you tried using tweezers? I did a couple micros with tweezers and actually really enjoyed it!!
Exacto knife for cutting pieces apart!
But they were not adjacent pieces that weren’t cut through. They were completely different pieces that were wedged together.
Thank you. That was very interesting. I've bought a Pickforu advent puzzle for this year.
Have fun!

I agree! I still will like them but a large piece is something I would prefer too.
