I mentioned this before but Sunoo gives me that same vibe as V. He's like this adorable, sweet & goofball personality off stage but when he it's time to start performing it's like a different Sunoo. The 'Save Me' performance he blew me away and even Zico got zapped with the Sunoo look. I'm not gonna stop saying it that he needs to really really debut. Imagine how much better he'll be in the future, everyone will have a meltdown.

Couldn't agree more. He is the least problematic i-lander, always a team player. I appreciate how quick he is to use feedback as an opportunity to grow. He doesn't complain when he's told to practice 100x, he just says 'yes' and practices until he gets it right. A real team player!

When the producers were saying how Sunoo looked like he was trying to appeal to global fans I was so offended like this test is based on global voting??? Personally, I think Sunoo is the one contestant who possesses the widest range of expressions compared to the others, even the top tiers like heesung, jungwon, or sunghoon. With a bit more coaching on song interpretations and stage presence, he should be able to learn to not overdo and be on point. vocally he's fine and has potential. Dancing-wise, while he surely got a lot of training to do to be on par with the likes of niki or k or heesung, he has his own distinctive flair and confidence. I hope he doesn't lose it. It's sad how one's confidence can be stripped off from not getting the recognition in whatever he thinks he's good at, like the case of Hanbin in Part 1. Character-wise, I don't see any other members who has overlapping character with him. So if they want a bubbly one who doesn't know the meaning of shame in being cute (kekekeke), I don't see anyone else who can play that role better than Sunoo. Unless that's not what the producer wants.

There are really performers who can naturally express their emotions when performing (like V from BTS). And from what i can see Sunoo is like that too. He understands the song and he knows too well how to express it.

hearing what the producers says about sunoo's facial expression, i immediately look at his solo video and me being in the kpop fandom for 7 years, i can tell that sunoo did well on this and it frustrate me. if sunoo didn't do the facial expression and just focus on his voice, you will call out that he lack emotions just like you did with geonu. they don't even notice that sunoo did improve on his skills. his dance before was more like less sharp and more on energy, but now his dance are more sharper than before and he isn't even underdancing or overdancing. his vocals shine on this too, he frickin' did a falsetto all the way performance, and it's hard to maintain that. it's just like txt's new rules where it all have falsetto, and even txt says that dancing while singing falsetto is hard. AND THAT FACIAL EXPRESSION, what do you mean he did too much? what do you mean he was trying too much to appeal the global votes? should the producer know that from the start sunoo already have a massive fanbase, they should know when he became 1st in ranking. they always compliment his facial expression, and now they're bailing on that compliment? i'm already okay if they only compliment his facial expression, even though they don't notice his dancing, his vocals and his improvement, it's okay for me. But saying that he did too much, is so stupid hearing that, mostly knowing that sunoo says in his diary that he is loosing emotions but he still try to maintain his energetic for the fans who is watching him.
and if sunoo did something so weird for the producers, i think because sunoo has his own color to put on their performance, he has his own spotlight that he needs to fit in with the others. yes, he didn't much shown in their performance, it looks like he is trying to match the energy and the colors of the others. but he still did very well and carry the songs with his voice. they should see that.
they only just trigger sunoo's fanbase into voting him more and more. I know that because i am part of it, and i know how stubborn this fanbase are. if this is only a produce season and you know that produce 101 are all global voting, sunoo can break jihoon's ranking history because he would be sitting on the top rank all over the test.

Honestly Sunoo is the reason I’m watching ILand. With his first performance I was amazed with his dancing and how stable his singing is. I love his smile and laughter. He just radiates happiness and you feel it as an audience. I get what the producer is trying to convey that the facial expressions has to be appropriate to the concept of the song. But there’s a difference between constructive feedback and criticism. The producer’s delivery of his message is key because constructive feedback is productive while criticism is destructive. I don’t want Sunoo to lose that happiness in performing overthinking that he has to have a killer stare or to question himself if one movement that feels natural to him that doesn’t really take away from the performance warrants another criticism. Are they not called “artists” for a reason? Sunoo will get through this and with our help through votes we can show him that he is loved. He will debut, do the craft that he loves and radiate more happiness to us, his fans.

is it just me but sunoo's voice here is so good? and so fitting? those high notes? chef's kiss. it's just sad how the pds didn't comment on it (at least what was shown on the episode) and just commented on his expressions. sunoo's vocal ability is actually good already he just needs more fine-tuning and he'll be a stronger vocalist. DIY is so different from save me and fake love (which are sunoo's best vocal performances in my opinion) yet he still slayed this song

Why did the producers criticised him today? I thought his charisma and aura was exploding today , it was totally going with the song.
