I had a lot of trouble making cotton candy last night I couldn't get it to stick to the cones and the cotton candy was so sticky it just made my job so hard, any tips on how to avoid this in the future?

I heard you start at the handle end and spin some onto the middle of the stick first and then back and forth to the big end of the stick and back spining it bigger and bigger .
But most of my sugar was sticking to the bowl in a ring . Maybe im too using it too hot of a temperature still .
