I'm reading now for the first time his book and I've discovered that he was arrested for the first time in a prison about 2 miles away from where we live. I passed so many times by but never thought R. Wurbrand has been there the first prisoner of this prison back in 1948 (29th February) What a great man of God

These are and were our Romanian greats, giants in the faith of our Lord. Growing up for a part of my life in communist Romania I know well great people of Christian faith who stood strong in the face of communists and served the Lord, even unto death, but how much more sister and brother Wurmbrand stood to defend Christ in those difficult years after the war, I can't imagine. I heard of this man and woman just two days ago, I listened to their son talking about their lives.Richard and Sabina were such courageous people, faithful to Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour.
What a beautiful couple. His face shines like the transfigured man in the story he tells: I think you only get that through sharing Christ's sufferings.
Richard and Sabina were TRUE church leaders. What they suffered under Communist persecution was unimaginable and they never ceased to forgive and love. I had the privilege of hearing him preach in person in 1995. There was one part of his message that was prophetic; i.e. God spoke directly and specifically to me through one part of it regarding a life directional decision I had to make in my life.
Wow in spit of going through so much ,they have such a Peace on there faces, nobody will think that they had been so much. Glory to God,it is Just Jesus love nothing else . Maranatha 🙇♀️

Continued: Richard Wumbrand spoke in Canoga Park, California in the 1990's I think it was. I was so impressed I can't describe it. There's more but it's about how I responded positively. I do have one question and that is, how do The Voice of the Martyrs look upon Catholics, positively or harshly, and for Richard Wumbrand and Sabina, I ask the same question. Please respond clearly. Speaking as one born into a very strict Roman Catholic family with many relatives as nuns, priests, Jesuits, and a Cardinal...... the Roman Catholic Church is (putting it nicely), a False "Christian" Religion, that was born straight out of the pit of H**l. It is NOT, Biblical Christianity in any Way, Shape or Form. Praise the Lord, that He drew me out of it, and to Himself.. instead.
