I read his first book twice and reading all of them. This man is an example of a true Christian. Makes me feel inadequate as a Christian at times. It is so very important to support Voice of the Martyrs. So very important.

However, as he typically does, the enemy came against this work of God and just caused havoc in so many different ways in order to kill, steal and to destroy ..in whatever way he could.I send them support whenever we are able. I'm reading now for the first time his book and I've discovered that he was arrested for the first time in a prison about 2 miles away from where we live. I passed so many times by but never thought R. Wurbrand has been there the first prisoner of this prison back in 1948 (29th February) What a great man of God

These are and were our Romanian greats, giants in the faith of our Lord. Growing up for a part of my life in communist Romania I know well great people of Christian faith who stood strong in the face of communists and served the Lord, even unto death, but how much more sister and brother Wurmbrand stood to defend Christ in those difficult years after the war, I can't imagine. Richard and Sabina were TRUE church leaders. What they suffered under Communist persecution was unimaginable and they never ceased to forgive and love. I had the privilege of hearing him preach in person in 1995. Speaking as one born into a very strict Roman Catholic family with many relatives as nuns, priests, Jesuits, and a Cardinal...... the Roman Catholic Church is (putting it nicely), a False "Christian" Religion, that was born straight out of the pit of H**l. It is NOT, Biblical Christianity in any Way, Shape or Form. Praise the Lord, that He drew me out of it, and to Himself.. instead.

I received Gods Joy and Peace Beyond All Understanding, on the day I found out my eldest son had died by suicide aged 23 in 2010.
God told me my son was SAFE IN HIS ARMS 🌈✝️🕊️. Oh what JOY and PEACE that brought me 🌈✝️🕊️
Until then I had mourned my son whilst alive ..as I thought he was a prodigal …also I was scared to ask God where my son was, because religious people had spoken of hell for suicide victims ….BUT GOD TOOK MY SON INTO HIS LOVING ARMS 🌈✝️🕊️
The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away …blessed be the name of the Lord 🌈✝️🕊️

Every bird sings every day, why don't we as Christians sing to our God every day? Watching this in Nov 2020, a powerful testimony. Pray for the countries of the world where persecution is the highest. Pray for those in prisons to be set free.
