You know, I'm not sure...lol. Its covered to the tip for aesthetic purposes. I would peel it back to light it.

What are you spreading on the weed leafs to stick them on the cake?
Just the smallest amount of water to make the fondant a little bit sticky.
wow! i came upon your video after purchasing leaf cake molds, and was looking for inspiration for when i get them to decorate, and your video was super helpful, i LOVE how you made your fondant leaf!!! i bake infused *wink* lol but i am brand new to buttercream & fondant decorating, i really would love to incorporate my infusion to other places than the typical brownie lol, i will be saving this video for future reference when i get my molds! keep up the great work! greetings from california!

How did you get the weed cut out?
I just googled “weed leaf”, found one I liked, printed and cut it out to make a stencil.
where are the hemp leaf templates from
I just simply googled “weed leaf outline” and lots of good results came up. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching!🥰

I googled it! Just look up weed leaf template or weed leaf outline, you should find one easily. You can then print it out and use that as your template or you could do like I do and just trace it right from the screen of my laptop.

I’m going to be attempting this cake this weekend. Can you tell me an estimated measurement of the stencil size you used? I know it was printed on paper and then cut out and used as a stencil.
Yup, the cake was an 8” I believe so the stencil width is probably 7” to 7 1/2” and my cakes usually end up being about 4” tall so the little ones were about 3” I’d say

What’s glue is that ?
For fondant I just use a tiny bit of water to dampen, but not too much as it will get slimy and melt the fondant.
I think its better to stand and ice a cake
I prefer to stand as well, but I have back problems so sometimes I have to sit ☹️
When I saw the thumbnail I thought there was gonna be fondant and I’m sad I didn’t get that to cover the cake and not just as an accent piece for the buttercream
I love decorating my cakes this way. A lot if people don't like fondant so I still get to add lots of cool details without over doing it and having to pull it off later. 😊
