Although that's naive. If they do a MegaMan Collab or a character I actually enjoy then I can't complain that I'm experiencing the suffering the ken/mh fans suffered during this event.
Something u didn't mention about cookie run is that yeah they do introduce a currency for the brand new Legendary/ancient/Super Epic and give u enough to pity for them but but thing u didn't mention is that they at the same time can be summoned on the normal Gacha ( get soul stones from the different in game shops)

Idle games usually do this on their events, and it works because are games oriented to light or heavy spenders. There are some idle games that take another route more f2p friendly, but are more rare to find.
As long as it isn't SNK Allstars event system where whoever spends the most Gems are the only ones that get the character. So if you weren't top 10 whale of your server, you were fucked

If they do the right thing and have MH Ken a "Legendary" unit, you will not need extra copies. The character is pointless otherwise.
Disgaea has spoiled me, i am expecting to at least be able to get the new hype unit. I am still on the re-roll stage, so i don''t even know if i will last to the collab.

yes because the image is from a beta version so we have to hold onto the hope that its going to be different.
Seems to happen a lot with gacha. Dunno why their billing is almost always bad. Adding currency always does seem to fix the problem too. Doesn't matter what platform it's on. Ironic though that apple puts a 2-step to prevent fraud which causes you to get billed without getting what you payed for.
Lol yeah it’s 100% caused by apple pulling you out, if the authorisation was done as a pop up while still in game I expect it would be fine

I hope they change it. mostly cuz realistically I think banner system would get them more money than going this route. Especially bc the game obviously depends on dupes and I've played games that have a similar mechanic for unlock of "new" unit and well actually in that game to even unlock 1 copy you needed to spend so I guess in that regard SFD would be more f2p friendly 😂low bar there.
I really wanted SFD to take a play out of Nikke's book by doing the special banner with special ticket/coin. but ALSO being able to use your gems just like you do on a regular banner. That way ppl can spend if they want to, or get special tickets to save for future banners, but also render the character not whale-exclusive.
The issue is like I’ve said in the discord, you really need to get a unit to ss for them to shine.
That’s a whole lot of copy’s, so even on a regular banner they would still make bank
@@Hayzink yeah idk why they'd think this other method would be more profitable. Street Fighter is a well known IP, ppl have faves they'll whale for. so banner system with a featured unit would make more sense to me.
Yeah I have like 5% hope it won’t be like this as if it is you have to imagine all new units that are not one of the 3 elements are gonna be on some dumb banner system
Really hoping the game gets popular enough in global to get the Chinese updates. The CN version is a step above what we have right now. It also hurts anyone who has spent money, if you cant convert the "premium" currency for the new currency then what's the point of having the first currency? ( we all know the point, and that's shady)

See I don’t want to say “this is how it will be” for sure because we don’t know, but exactly like you said there if they were going to allow diamond summons there would be diamond summons.
At very best we MIGHT see something like in the daily growth mission thing where you can buy a 1 a day set amount or something.
But I’m fairly sure it’s gonna be a case of if you wanna get him and get him into a useable state then pay up.
The one thing I’ll say from being far into the game is if the unit isn’t ss and you have fighting spirit then forget about it your not gonna use them
The cn version is a step above global because it's 1or 2 years ahead of global of course we will get the updates as time goes on what are you on lol
The cn version is a different game in a lot of aspects, it’s not just qol.
Sure over time global will get stuff, but it won’t be like the cn version

How it operates isn’t, the summoning system it different.
The dupes system is a bit different.
There is some gameplay mechanics changed.
It’s a more simplified version of the CN game with a different gacha system involved.
That’s why people say “it’s not the same game as china”
People were hoping for the exact same version as china (I’m not bothered tbh I think it’s fine although I’d like china summoning system)

No doubt you will be able to get one copy ftp (like I said in the video) but hate to break it to you 1 copy is absolutely useless as you progress in the game.
Dont be a Scion fanboy...Scion's info is based on the tw/cn version...everything he said could be different in Global.
@@MmaSmarty87 Also people use the term free to play wrong. F2P is literally getting the unit for free. most of us will. but those f2p players will not get him to SS+ where he will be viable. This was the main point of the video i feel. the OP just misused the term free to play.
