The writers are unable to keep consistency of the characters. Koushiki was initially shown as a not so easily "bendable" character. She was shown to have good sense of justice. Even the scene in the last episode, where she hits the "masked KD" in the police station itself for lock-up torture (she misunderstood that KD did it) shows the intensity of her character- that she is not afraid of police unlike others, when she has to stand up to injustice. But the current writers were consistently demeaning and weakening the character of Koushiki. It was unfortunate. There was only one good (main) character in this serial. That was Koushiki. Now she goes and tells Kedar and Jagadhatri some arbitrary thing "Varasadu would not have disappeared like that" Why should the writers add a dialogue like that? That is not like Koushiki. She can directly tell that others members of family are threatening to go away, and they are damn serious. (The tension could have been developed, by first Koushiki trying to suppress them and so on...) Now see what Jagadhatri says when she is emotionally taking leave, "You should know that it is because of really urgent and unavoidable reasons that we left" (not rechecking the dialogue, but something like this) This takes away all the tears from the viewer's mind. This episode was meant to be a tear-jerker. But by just one dialogue given to Jagadhatri, the writers made it "a game of cheating each other". Koushiki cheating. Jagadhatri cheating. For JD the reason she went may be important, but clearly she knows what it meant to the family. So it is a misplaced dialogue, a dishonest one. These dialogues show the lack of writing skills on the part of the writers. The viewers would just say "Low grade cheats" about both sides.
