New to the game, what is the mod he is using to get kings and add population?
Also, does the whole party have to have the mod to play?

It's called 'Outback Octagon 2' I believe. Anyone who joins your lobby (if you have the mod yourself and are hosting) will automatically download it.

Only the host of the custom lobby needs to have the mod.
