Yes I agree. I think this album not coming out did more damage to his career than he realized back then. He had to do a completely new album in a short time window and imo Rotten Apple was good but not great. The Big Withdraw was fire though, and the tracks aren't even mastered but still sound great.
Ian Piepenbrock Absolutely! You said it best! I know a few people that felt like Rotten Apple let them down. Nonetheless, Banks always been a Fan Favorite.
Yea and it would have been released in 2005, which means that most likely it would have been a multiplatinum album like The Massacre or The Documentary
I hail from the Left Coast and if it weren't for my man Banks being a part of G-UNIT, I may have never heard in my 30 years of knowledge of Hip-Hop in my humble opinion a Top 5 lyricist of my generation. That being said I only would have R.I.P. Tupac Shakur ahead of him and not by much. This man was butta baby when it came to spittin' his flows on the mic. We all know that G-UNIT was 50, Banks, YB, YAYO and for a cup of coffee The Game, however without Banks and say what you want about Buck, these two were the breadwinners I think. 50 after his first album was became more and more industry and had other things going on, YAYO was in prison until like '06 and The Game that was something personal. It was Banks and Buck that carried the G-UNIT torch and at the end of the day they were the two that got FUCKED!!!
This album would of solidified Lloyd Banks Career! It's a damn shame only a few people know about "The Big Withdraw," straight classic!
