2yrs ago I switched from a galaxy S9+ to an iphone 11 pro max, I didn't hate it but rlly disliked the iOS experience. Now I'm watching these type of vids while waiting for my zflip4 in the mail ✨
That's exciting! YES, I totally feel u! I had an iPhone around 3yrs ago but decided to switch back a year later. Its a mix of frustrating ios system and other features Samsung has that are just way better in my opinion
I think it's impressive that you still have it! Honestly do what feels best for you. As for the price aspect, trading in your phone could be an option to get it for a lesser price

I want to get a new phone because mine is 6 years old and I'm scared that it won't work anymore soon, but I think if I would buy one, I would feel guilty because I don't actually need one and it's so expensive 😭😭 the s7 still works fine and the quality is still so good. I only have issues with the storage, and a new Samsung phone woudn't make that better since they don't let you insert a SD card (and I just bought one for my phone, it would be wasted).
I was debating getting the pink gold but I settled on the bora purple. Also got the matching case , watch band and buds.

Alrighty so I’m considering on switching from an iPhone 13 pro max to a Galaxy Z Flip 4. I wanted iPhone to make a flipable phone like the z flip 4 but my family doesn’t believe in Apple doing it and I’m getting tired of Apple releasing the same thing over and over and over so it’ll be the first time transferring from iOS to Android as a long time Apple person. Can’t wait to get it! I have been looking up tips as research because i wanna be prepared for transferring.

I've used samsungs for 8years and switched to Iphone 6 and 6 plus in 2019 until today. I really love everything about it but today I got the Z flip 3. I'm scared about it tbh... idk if i'll get used to the software again since IOS is more practical now but let's see. Sure it's a cute phone, might help me get less time of screen use :)

Do you experience the overheating with this phone when using for awhile? How is the battery? I’m torn between this phone and an Ip 14, the only issue concern me phone is the heating and the battery. I used to have a Note and switch to Iphone because it got overheating, apps were slow or frozen and battery wasn’t great
Oh, that's not good! The only time I experienced overheating with flip 4 was when I used smart view and had it unfolded (with the screen on and app running) for over 2hrs and had a pillow over it (that was my bad lol) but the issue was fixed when I changed its place. The battery is good (lasts me most of the day with frequent use), and it's way better than last year's flip model but I think that will also depend on ur use, apps running in background, and all of that. Hope this helps!

Totally agree!! It's soft but wouldn't say slippery, especially when I use the ring & it's also still grippy without the ring

I like the camera a lot! In the daylight, it captures the colors nicely with small details & night mode is so also really detailed and clear. But honestly, the biggest piece is how flexible the camera is (one reason I think worth switching for!). Lol, maybe try it out for a couple of days to see if u like it first! ;)

I'm thinking about switching to this phone from my S7, but idk if I should do it since mine still works so well and the z flip 4 is soooo expensive. I heard that the camera quality isn't the best compared to the S22 phones (especially the ultra), so since the prices of the s22 ultra and the z flip 4 are both so expensive, I would probably choose the one with the better camera. But then again, I looooove how these flip phones look, I think it would be so much more fun to have one... But for this price??? 😭😭 or should I just wait until my S7 dies... since it's still working so well I could propably even wait until the S23 phones come out.. or maybe even the z flip 5... it's just that I don't know when it will die and wanting to buy the perfect phone since they're so expensive which makes decisions so difficult. I can't risk buying a phone which I could have issues with if it's that expensive... ahhh it's driving me insane
@Joshina totally hear you! I had almost the same thoughts except that my old phone (note 20 ultra) is newer than what u have. The flip 4 camera isn't necessarily bad, I actually think it's better but I also encourage you to do a research about the camera quality comparisons because it's not only about the quality (e.g. file size) and the quality is relatively similar. Also you could trade in your phone to get the new one for a lesser price. The newer your phone the higher the trade in value so if you buy a new phone, let's say every 2yrs, you'd probably only end up paying half the price for the new one if you meet the trade in conditions
The Flip 4 camera isn't bad. It's a very good camera. The things you should take into account are: Battery (below average) and foldable screen (fragile). Yes, the S22 Ultra is the best smartphone, but you have to think "what do I need/what do i want?". Flip 4's only reason to buy is: it's a flip phone. So, would you pay $10X for a flip phone that is as good as a $6.5X phone, or would you rather pay $10X for a $10X quality phone (but not foldable)? You'll be sacrificing battery life and screen durabiliy for the folding screen aesthetics and practicicity. Either way, you'd be making a GREAT choice for a new smartphone.
PS: Flip 4's screen has a durability of 1 - 2, that means anything can leave marks and scratches on it BUT that doesn't mean it'll happen. Only if you're not careful. I know some people who still have a flip 3 for over an year now and the screen is still brand new. S22 Ultra's durability is 6 - 7, which means only the same material or other materials with a bigger hardness can scratch it.
Hmmm, I don't think that the only reason to get the flip 4 is bc it's foldable. Its performance is solid too, it may not be the best of all phones like you mentioned (fragile & battery) but it has many advantages over the ones out there which extend beyond screen aesthetics :) but again, I think it's also about perspective

Yay!! R u getting the same color too? I'm usually very careful when I have long nails but the nice thing is that flip 4 has a better screen protector than flip 3 (which was one thing I was also concerned about)
the screen protector is the same, just using better adhesive. I would stay away if you normally have long nails.
No, it's not the same; if it's better glued, that means improved reliability, and that's an essential part of what makes a screen protector useful. Also, flip 4 screen is more durable than to flip 3. I use it at times with long nails and didn't have issues. Ultimately, it's also about being careful with it :)
@@Rimachann They were specifically talking about how it would stand up to fingernails, which it won’t as long as samsung uses plastic screen protectors, the adhesive is between the screen and the screen protector since it is known to separate
You specifically mentioned the "screen protector" being the same and I responded to you. Her question was that the old version didn't last as long and I said that the new one is more durable. That's all. Also, the adhesive is part of the screen protector.

I think the camera is nice, especially since it's very flexible! Overall, I'd say yes, definitely worth it!

Hey! "Breaks easily" sounds like an exaggeration to me, sure maybe if the screen protector is removed 🫢 I've been using my flip for a couple of wks and still didn't see a single scratch :) so I think the screen's durability is looking good so far!

I’ve had apple products since forever but I’m really tempted by this one. I don’t know if I’ll hate the insides though coz I’m used to apple. Everything I own is apple so that might make it hard too.
I'm about the same, but a few months ago, I got a Mac, so it was a bit of a transition for me since I rarely use Apple products. It didn't feel too bad, but it needed patience at first. One UI isn't too hard, and I think it's really nice, so you might not end up hating it. If you feel u like the phone enough to deal with the switch, I'd say that's a good enough reason.

I switched from Note 20 Ultra LTE (white) to S22 Ultra (burgundy), i just can't hold my note 20 ultra cuz in indonesia we got the exynoss variant. The battery life experience was so bad. I'm glad my S22 Ultra didn't happen the same issue.

You can watch your anime in full screen without the black side! It's under full screen apps in the settings

I honestly don’t get how 2 years is old for a phone. It’s the number one reason I hesitate getting a Samsung. Samsung should have longer support on their phones at least 6-7 years if they’re making you pay $1,000 on a phone. Not everyone is rich. Not everyone can just buy a $1,000 phone every single year. It’s just ridiculous.
As much as I really want a Samsung I just can’t. I don’t hate Samsung. They make very great phones. It just lacks longevity especially on a $1,000 phone.
I personally won't keep the same phone for that long even if Apple or Samsung paid me $1000 to keep it, not even for 4 years. I assure you not everyone who buys a $1000 phone is rich :)

Your nails are INCREDIBLE. But i'm too uncomfortable with them while you handle this phone, since its screen can be easily scratched. Be careful.

@@Rimayt I had the S22Ultra since it was released, and switched to Flip4 recently. S22Ultra was a monster on my pockets. I lost a few features, but also gained a few. I'm so in love with the Flip, I don't think I'll come back to the Ultra come February when the S23Ultra will be released.

I bought the same silicone case and was disappointed in how much dust or hairs from clothes in collects.
Mine still looks like new, with very minimal cleaning. Everyone will have their own experience, after all.

Switching phones every 2 years is not smart. As long your phone is functioning you shouldn’t change it every 2 years. At minimum every 3 years, best every 5 years. The technological advancements aren’t that huge anymore. It also does good to the environment to not change phones every 2 years.
I don't think it's also smart to decide what's a smart decision for someone and what isn't. We all weigh our decisions based on our logic and what we deem most appropriate.

It's seeming wobbly bc I changed the clip's speed :) and yes, video and image stabilization options are great ways to control most unnecessary movements!
@@Rimachann oh okay :) try to anable and disable the video stabilization for the front cam thogh you'll see that it's even better without the stabilization for the front cam and the camera is also wider without the stabilization on
Yeah, enabling super steady mood will slightly hurt the sharpness level & result in a bit lower FoV. So I don't like to use it unless I absolutely need it
