Then when you get out of high school, you decide whether or not you want to live a normal life or go all the way into the gangbanging. After drill blew up, all of a sudden, kids didn't want to fight anymore. All these stories would come out about these teenage gangbangers doing drive bys on each other.

I'll use rap music as an example. At one point, everyone wanted to sound like beanie Sigel, then Cassidy, then meek. Everyone adopted they styles and added their own lil twist, sometimes. So when I left and saw that Chicago was blowing up behind the rise of chief keef, it didn't surprise me that Philly would switch to the drill style of rap. But to pick up the gang culture is wild.
