Hate that Trina felt the need to apologize for having a different opinion and expressing herself. Also not a fan of having her call herself a 'b' but I so appreciate the dialogue regarding Spencer. I hope she gets that call or makes her way to Paris and brings Spencer home.
Why do I feel like Joss was quick to give advice to Trina (Telling Trina what she wanted to hear) because she wanted to turn the conversation by to herself. It happened so subtle, the conversation going right back to Joss's "problems"
There’s a reason why joss fans never complain about this friendship and we do…Bc Joss is always going to win. There won’t ever be consequences for her actions. And the writers will recon her history/personality before they let her grow organically…Joss knows Jason is a killer, we’ve seen her talk about how dangerous he is. But they want her to appear naive, so they had her act like she didn’t. Anyways, I think there’s a lot to like about what the new writers are doing to the structure of the show. However, the first few weeks is not giving me faith on if they will write stories for the Black cast. Every Black character is getting the sideline/background treatment right now. I hope as they develop story, we see that change.
@nfgc86 I completely agree with you, even when the Black characters are in the episode and it's the "main" storyline of the episode, they (the writers) find some way to still sideline them and shove them to the back. For example the Paris storyline when Esme followed them on the ship, and tried to kidnap Spencer, the story is about Trina and Spencer, but somehow now Esme is apart of it, and then Trina is tied up aka sidelined and we have the longest monologue from Spencer and Esme. Not to mention the episode where the rest of the characters like Kevin saying that Esme was taking a flight to Paris, and Laura, etc.
@alyssalouis2071 I think that it is easy for Joss to be Trina's friend because Joss/Eden always gets screen time and character development and Joss's relationship with Dex is really all about Joss and her family, we rarely see or hear much about Dex's point of view and Dex is written into a corner and really hasn't been given much to do. I wanted Joss to deal with the consequences of cheating on Cam with Dex because Carly couldn't fix that problem.
@@amusicfan25a21 Right. Joss fans never have to advocate for her pov. Or screen time. Or relationships. They just know they’ll get it. Centering the show with Carly as the female lead and having her children anchor their age groups is a problem for the show. Michael is a terrible male lead. He’s boring and looks unkempt most episodes. Joss is abrasive and dishonest. We’ll see what happens but I’m not feeling this trajectory rn. It feels like the Black characters and audience are about to be left out in the cold.
@nfgc86 I think that it would be one thing if Joss and Michael were in romantic relationships with people who the writer's actually develop and give them character development but Dex's relationship with Joss is really all about Joss and we barely ever hear or see much of anything about Dex's point of view and Willow is in a marriage where it's really all about Michael and Willow's feelings are often ignored now. It is hard not to notice that Evan's screen time has gone down significantly and the powers that be have never given Dex much to do and now Steve Burton has returned so that puts Dex in a corner because the powers that be made Dex's relationship with Joss all about Joss and her family. Do I really think that Joss and Dex's relationship is really going to last once Joss and her family know that Dex wants to bring down Sonny? No, it won't matter because Dex will have to pay for betraying Joss's family, and I don't want Trina with Dex at all.
Thanks, LMNN for this video. Trina you don't have to apologize all the time, speak on how you feel. New writers please do better by writing for Trina and stop making Trina the bad person and praising Joss.

So…I just want to wish good luck to NAC and Tabyana Ali in their future endeavors and thank them for bringing #Sprina to life. We will never forget you guys and what you two brought to the fandom. We love you!!!
I already feel sorry for the actor who gets recast as Spencer Cassadine because it seems like it will be a no-win situation where Spencer and Trina will be watered down and too easy to put in the background. People watching GH are already upset about Tabyana not getting much screen time during NAC's leave of absence and adding a recast of Spencer Cassadine right now is really just making a bad situation even worse. I remember when the powers that recast Gia after the original Gia, Marisa Ramirez left and it was really obvious that the powers that be used Marisa Ramirez leaving GH to break up Nikolas and Gia's relationship. In this case, GH also let go of Shannon Peace who is a writer and a woman of color so there's not really anyone in the writer's room to advocate for Trina and Spencer and the other characters who are people of color and it's already showing.
@lh7080 I think that Tabyana needs to leave GH early too because there's no incentive for Tabyana to stay on GH and let's be honest about Elizabeth Korte was involved with Spencer's funeral and somehow made Spencer's funeral all about Joss and I can't like or root for Joss when she always gets what she wants and never has to deal with the consequences of her actions.
Shannon Peace was the best. She wrote the best for Sprina and they fired her. Um CBS, please hire this chick. If GH doesn’t want her….. Well I will advocate for her to be at CBS’ new SOAP. I do not know if this SOAP will bring in ratings. I hope so. Even if it’s to put a certain audience (karens) in their place. But I’m going to support it anyway. Since this Spencer/NAC and Trina/Taby storyline seems to be a moot point now. 🙄.
Joss is the entitled young lady; it's always about Joss. Let's keep it real. In the conversation with Trina, Joss said to Trina, Is this about me? Because she's always the center of attention, but not this time, Trina was not able to grieve for Spencer and was holding on to her feelings to express what happened in Paris with the love of her life. Trina was suffering in silence. I don't see why Trina apologized over Spencer's presumed death at all; Joss should have understood by going through the death of Oscar. I don't like some of the writing for the Joss character.
Nicolas Chavez is a phenomenal actor. I love him as the character Spencer Cassidine, aka Nicolas Chavez. He always brought his A game to all of his performances. Nicolas is a multidimensional character; he travels through time and deals with various levels. That's why everyone fell in love with Nicolas. I am looking forward to seeing Nicolas in the Netflix film about one of the Menendez brothers. May his career skyrocket and bring him joy. May he surround himself with people who really care about him as a person. May God bless your future endeavors and talent.
Just come back you and Trina marry go to Paris and make a home then NC can do whatever he's wanting to do and TA can go over to The Gates where she can be a hit and win her Emmy. Hopefully The Gates will allow her to shine she is so beautiful.

@bonniewynn8476 The writing is on the wall already. The powers that be have shown that they have other priorities and interests that don't involve Trina and Spencer and usually when a character is recast that character if in a romantic relationship with someone that usually both characters are put in the background. Most people watching GH won't put up with a Spencer Cassadine recast especially given that Tabyana hasn't been given much to do when NAC has taken his leave of absence New writer Elizabeth Korte is known to be a fan of Carly's and Elizabeth Korte was involved with Spencer's poorly written funeral. The powers that be also let the writers who advocated for Spencer and Trina go so there's no one in the writer's room advocating for Spencer and or Trina and so I think that Tabyana needs to leave GH early because her time and talent are being wasted on GH with zero signs of improvement. I also think that Trina being used to prop up Curtis and Portia's doomed marriage wasn't a good idea and it wasn't a good idea to use Curtis to erase Taggert from GH and from Trina's life as much as possible. Donnell wanted a family for Curtis but he's now married to the insufferable Portia and Donnell should have known that being married to Portia wasn't going to help him and Curtis being used to erase Taggert from GH and from Trina's life as much as possible wasn't going to help him either, so those were two strikes against Curtis and his poorly written storyline. Tabyana deserved to be given her chance to shine on her own but Trina isn't even on the powers that be's radar and it looks really bad when think about how Joss was allowed to grieve on-screen for Oscar after he died and how Liz grieved for Lucky. The powers that be also let Shannon Peace who is a writer and a woman of color go and GH really doesn't have people of color who are writing for GH and so I don't think that situation is going to improve for Tabyana/Trina. Recasting Spencer Cassadine after the powers that be have rarely let us see Trina on screen for almost a month is just going to make a bad situation even worse. I don't say that Tabyana needs to leave GH early lightly the writing is is on the wall that the powers that be have shown that they have other priorities and interests that don't involve Trina/Tabyana.
@amusicfan25a21 I think the incentive for Tabyana to stay is a paycheck! She and Nicholas weren't a contractual packaged deal. I'm sure there are lots of people who felt the same about Trina being recast after Sydney left. Don't get me wrong, I'd love NAC to return, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen now. I'd prefer the love story to continue rather than be shelved altogether.
@@rrobinnyc11411 I think that Tabyana is smart and talented enough to get another job where her time and talent are being valued and not being wasted like they are currently on GH. Tabyana should see that Brook/Portia is hardly on GH and TJ is going to be a father but that storyline is really all about Molly and Kristina and Robert/Marshall's storyline has concluded. Most people watching GH won't put up with a Spencer Cassadine recast especially given that Tabyana hasn't been given much to do during NAC's leave of absence so people watching GH are already upset about that so adding a Spencer Cassadine recast would really just make a bad situation even worse. I have thought for awhile that Tabyana needed to think about other projects and work opportunities where her time and talent are being valued and not being wasted like they are currently on GH. GH also let go of one of the writers who is a person of color. I think that we will see a watered down Trina and Spencer if there's a Spencer Cassadine recast and given how all of the people of color are currently in the background, I don't think that there's a real incentive Tabyana to stay on GH and it will be a long year for Trina/Tabyana if she stays on GH because the powers that be have other priorities and interests that don't involve Trina/Tabyana. GH has struggled with keeping their young talent and really struggled with keeping people of color on the show. I think that it was very telling that during the 60th anniversary special that other than Sheryl Underwood no other people of color who are fans of GH were interviewed and no prior characters who are people of color were featured in the 60th anniversary special and I don't say that Tabyana needs to leave GH early lightly, but let's be honest, the writing is on the wall. Avery Pohl also had her time and talent wasted on GH in my opinion.

I think that if we have a Spencer Cassadine recast that Spencer and Trina are going to be watered down and GH let go of Shannon Peace who is a woman of color who was writing for GH and it's really obvious that GH doesn't have enough people of color in the writer's room and people watching GH are already upset about Tabyana not being given much to do when NAC was on a leave of absence and adding a Spencer Cassadine recast would really just make a bad situation even worse. I didn't want to be right but I think that Tabyana needs to leave GH early because her time and talent are being wasted on GH and the situation shows zero signs of improvement and NAC fought very hard for Spencer and Trina and Tabyana and it's really just too easy to recast a soap opera character and throw them and their significant other in the background. I remember when the powers that be recast Gia after the original Gia Marisa Ramirez left and that recast was awful and it became very easy for the powers that be to break up Nikolas and Gia and that's exactly what happened and now there's no one who is the writer's room to advocate for Spencer and Trina and the other characters who are people of color.
@robinrobinson3128 The powers that be have shown that they have other priorities and interests that don't involve Trina/Tabyana and recasting Spencer Cassadine right now after knowing that people watching GH are already upset about Tabyana not getting much screen time during NAC's leave of absence really just makes a bad situation even worse. The powers that be needed more writers who are people of color to given a more prominent role in the writer's room, but instead, they were let go.
Nicholas Chavez unfollowed taby on twitter and insta 😢 guys he even unfollowed gh what's going on
Tabyana should be looking to leave GH early too. She has to see that Brook/Portia is getting very little screen time and the same goes for Curtis/Donnell and Robert/Marshall's misdiagnosis storyline is done. There is no incentive for Tabyana to stay on GH in my opinion.
@lh7080 Tabyana should leave GH early too because the powers that be have put Trina and all of the other characters who are people of color in the background. There's no incentive for Tabyana to stay on GH if NAC isn't there because Trina's already being put in the background.
@@lh7080 We don't know but I can tell you that the powers that be are going to be dealing with a lot of negative attention directed at them if NAC leaves GH because they didn't accommodate his work schedule because they let James/Valentin and Adam Huss/Nikolas work on GH and on other projects from time to time and it's not like GH has any other current young soap opera power or super couples, they have Sprina and that's it.
@@lh7080 Jonathan Jackson wanted to leave GH the last time after he wanted a smaller role on GH. The new writers should have known that people watching GH were unhappy with them before when most of GH was all about Jason and Sonny and Carly and everyone else is fighting for scraps. The powers that be haven't done well with keeping their young talent and really struggled with keeping people of color on the show. Avery and Evan/Dex are written into a corner and Dex's storyline is really all about Joss and her family.
