I watched soooo many videos To learn how to do Knotless braids and this video by far gave me the confidence to really get out and there and try it. Your angles the way the describe what you’re doing while also letting us see it just gold. Thank you so very much for this ❤
Wonderful video showing step by step the easiest way to knotless braid, especially with sort hair. As I just big chopped myself a couple of weeks ago. Bravo to you ✌️👍👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏😅
This is the best video so far for learning how to do your own knotless braids...I have watched many and never got the hang of it until I came across this video thank you gurl👍🏾 I took a break fro. Installing my knotless braids they’re not perfect but I got the hang of it 👏🏾 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Aww thank you Raemee! 💕 So glad you found this video useful! I’m sure you hair looks great. Comments like this put a smile on my face. Thank you for watching and leaving a comment x
Aw thank you! ☺️ In all honesty I haven’t looked after it as I should have, but it’s getting there lol. Yes you should try it! It is my favourite protective hairstyle right now because there is no tension on my head, you really can’t go wrong with these braids 💕
Gorgeous Outcome, sis!!!! I wish my hair was just a little longer I'd attempt that style. I'm going to make an appointment to get my braids done real soon. Thanks for sharing. 🙋🏾♀️💛👍🏽🦋
Glad you found this video useful! I've only recently started to wash my hair before installing it, its worked miracles for me because the hair used to itch me ALOT! and now when i wash it before installing it i experience 0% itching. I found out the itching was due to the chemicals that they coat the hair with, you'l see it on the surface of the water when you wash the hair. I wash it the night before and its dry when i'm ready for it the next day. However if i'm in a rush and i don't have time to wash it before hand after i install it i'll rinse my hair a couple days later in the shower whilst it's braided. Hope that helps :)
Great job 🔥 I love your accent where are you from? I like how you prep your hair first I know it saved alot of time thanks for sharing I will be using your method ❤️
In most cases I would say no, I didn't blow dry my hair. I guess it all depends on the texture of your hair, I would probably recommend stretching your hair using another method. I also added a little bit of gel at the ends to help it to lay as i did't want it sticking out of my braids. I'm not a professional lol that's just my opinion
Yes! The whole point of these type of braids is for natural hair in its natural hair to be braided in a protective way. Personally, I feel like putting hot air on it every time you get a protective style kinda defeats the purpose of it being "protective".
So I started off using the 30 I only ended up doing 3 strands and realised I wasn’t feeling it. I didn’t want to pull it out because 1. I was being lazy lol 2. It was at the back so It was out of sight. My initial intention was to mix both of the colours that’s why I showed it in the beginning. However, the rest of my hair was done in the colour 27. Hope this helps 😊
@@KhrystalG yes I meant that since it’s knotless braids and you’re starting with your real hair. I noticed you used coloured xpression, was it hard to tuck in your real hair or it’s not possible because it’s knotless. Some know how to tuck in the black hair (real hair) when it’s box braids. I was wondering if it’s the same for knotless?😆
@@user-ip9cm1ol3x I think I get what you’re asking (correct me if I’ve got it wrong 🙈lol) from what I understand it would be quite difficult to tuck in your real hair from the roots when using coloured hair because you start the braid off by plaiting your own hair, so because my hair is black it shows at the beginning of the plait, if I was using black hair it would definitely look seamless. I guess a way around it would be to plait less of your own hair before adding in the braid... I’m not an expert, I hope what I said makes some kind of sense lol. Let me know if I answered what you was asking
@@KhrystalG yeah you got it. Yh I guess if black hair was used it will indeed look seamless. And if the real hair was used less before adding the extension it would be less visible. But good job though the hair look great regardless I couldn’t do that on my own haha 👏🏽
Erm good question, it was so long ago I don’t remember the exact time but normally it takes me 6-8 hours but I do stop and start a lot. Hope that helps

hi! doing these for the first time. so we can do knotless braids without blow drying our own hair first?
