Never thought this video would do so good this early in my youtube career huge thanks to everyone for positive feedback🙏 .Just to clarify the car was indeed abandoned for many years, it might not look like that in the video but it was. Before it arrived to me it had a major mechanical overhaul ( brakes, suspension, wheels respray etc) and of course a basic power wash.
You bet it would 😄.Many hours where spent on the mechanical aspect of the car too, it was as bad as it was on the outside everything that needed to be changed was changed.
Legendary motor , a great job with the detailing. Looks like the one sugo knight and Tupac was riding in when he got shot. Who ever the owner of this car is has a nice little classic gem.
That's not one of these. They are LIKE these, but not quite. This is the last hand-built of the "M" chassis. Not many cars can the owner say they know the name of the master mechanic who hand built their motor
That is an awesome detailing job, what surprises me, is that the E-34 M-5 ,has like cloth interior in the middle and the door cards inserts, normally it would be leather.since I have an E-34 535 I with complete black leather.
Is that it surprises me, being an M-5, normally it would have the M series red, white ,blue stripe like the steering wheel, and being that those are memory seats, what confuses me, is the insert
Thank you 😊 Yeah this one is with the 3.6 motor. What a car they don't make them like this any more. The color is actually Macao Blue metallic in some angles it does have this violet tint in it.
Macao Blue with silbergrau interior and M-tecnik fabric inserts--same color combo as my car, nice! I noticed the door cards are leather, looks like aftermarket judging by the stitch pattern?
I will cry...A time ago i had e34 525tds,525 and 540.Before then i had 325 e30 touring, after them e60 535d and f10 535d.I have driven for a while x5,x6(not mine) and e92 330(not mine again). From my point of view, best feeling BMW is e34 with proper for needs engine.Never ever since those cars i have drived more neutral behaviour vehicles. And i had quite a lot....Nothing brings me cart feeling of e34.If i have a chance to get e34 540 ot m5 but in geniune condition,i will keep and care for them for my life, and use them only in weekends for fun.
Thank you! It's new thing for me trying to finish a car and film it all at the same time, it's a learning process definitely loads of room for improvement. Really appreciate your tip 🙏.
Hehe thank you!!! It's nothing special just a wheel cleaner with iron removing capabilities that's why you see it change color when it reacts with brake pad dust. Koch chemie Rrr
What kind of a muppet abandons 1. An e34 and 2. An m5 e34? They go for 50k now, absolute classic if ever I saw one. Great job on the detail work here 👍
Thank you! Well some times people don't have the time and energy to invest in car like that and just let it sit until some else motivates them to do otherwise.
What do you think get’s more “clicks”- #1. I detailed someone else’s M5 or #2 Abandoned perfectly working M5 detail? It’s for clicks. Same as “First car wash on this barn find after 50yrs” or a restoration video of a toy Pagani Huyra but it looks as though it’s been sitting in a dirt backyard for 50yrs even though the toy was just made maybe 5yrs ago? It’s all for clicks man.
Well it was sitting in a shed for many years.I didn't get the pleasure of first wash because the car got major mechanical overhaul (brakes, wheels, suspension etc)so they power washed it beforehand.
Abandoned my ass. Look at the rotors. Not even a drop of surface rust after 10 years. Everyone says they did something to an "abandoned" car. That car was cleaner than my daily driver that gets washed every other week.
Wheels where fully restored before it was dropped off so where the brakes and many other mechanical parts. Don't talk from your ass if you don't know the back story you smart ass.
I really love cars, and this whole auto world, and I also give respect to those who appreciate cars, and are treated respectfully, watching your videos, you get the same vibe that no pussy in this world will give...
Like I said before car was power washed so it could be serviced before it arrived to me , wheels where freshly painted and many other components ( brakes ,suspension etc) where changed after many years of sitting.
Keeping the lance at a distance, avoiding crucial electrical components, a good blow dry at the end and letting the engine run for a bit to warm up and you'll never have issue's.
An M5 with Alpina wheels? No offense to Alpina, but the throwing stars are definitely what belong on the car. Excuse me while I step away to cry about not having mine anymore. Edit to add that it does have the proper four seat layout, so I can't be too upset
Yeah I agree with you! I do prefer the throwing star too over the Alpina wheels but the owner liked the Alpina more he actually has a full m5 swapped e34( engine, interior) with throwing stars on it.
@@maxvisionautodetailing First, you did an awesome job for sure. Second, if I had Alpina wheels on an E34, it better be on a B10, but that's just me haha. Also tip to him for going so far to make his own M5, because I know the S38 itself is a very pricey item, let alone everything else (please just tell me didn't do the SLS so he can avoid that boondoggle)
@@maxvisionautodetailing The Self Leveling Suspension that was on the later model E34 M5s. Most owners replaced it with regular shocks or coil-over systems as soon as they failed.
Oh that! on the swapped m5 I have no I idea( I guess not? ) on the one I did which was the real deal it had a complete service before it arrived to me ( shocks ,brakes etc) shocks looked like nothing special to my eye so I guess it was long gone.
It was sitting in a shed for more than 10 years and before it came to me it had a complete mechanical overhaul with a good old power wash...it was left for dead the fact that it looks mint is that Greek weather is very forgiving, cars don't rust easy here.
I know everyone raves about the e39, but I love these just a bit more
Indeed it's timeless chassis.
In Finland E34 is called as "kunkkukoppa" which means "king chassis" in english
@@Narwh4le- In Serbia the e34 is known as the "Kamatarka" which means Loan Shark :)
E39 cant be compared to a masterpiece E34...
It’s the V8 that does it for me.
Maybe BMW's best design 5 series ever build. Stunning car..
I will agree with you cars of this era had character

The e34 chassis is a very understated yet beautiful chassis. Very cool to see, wondering what paint code that is.
Yeah they are great cars chassis wise and Engine wise. Color is Macao Blue metallic.
@@maxvisionautodetailing very beautiful paint. I have an Alpine White III 525i 5mt wagon with black msport interior
That was insanely satisfying to watch for sure. You brought that M5 back baby! looks beautiful. Well done!
Thank you!! It really needed it!
If the car could, it would be purring right now. I bet it never had such care like now! Very pleasant to watch :)

Actually that was an E38 750iL, not an E34 M5
I Love driving my e34 every day❤
You're a lucky person sir it's a cool car to own!
Well, I ve got e91 . But, seriously I M THINKING about to buy e34 for weekend nice rides ...
