And for those who may be wondering. The icons do not continue to flash as you ride. They go away once you start moving. Great vid bronco.
Yes, great callout.
Great info. I leave for Alaska on my Pan America in about 3 weeks from Southern Ca. This is good to know before I go. I could tell right away you were a man of exceptional taste. I also have the gray Pan Am and a blue Ultra Limited.
Have an awesome trip. That sounds like an epic ride.
Jerry. Safe and awesome ride to Alaska. You must post your experience for the rest of us. Enjoy brother.
I am still catching up with your many videos. You are definitely the Pan America guru. Im living loving learning and most importantly riding my PAS. Thank you for all of your excellent infomercials. Harley should be paying you for your personal passionate promotion of the PA. Thank you. Looking forward to more of your experience with this awesome machine.
I wouldn’t call me a guru. Lol. Appreciate the compliment.
@@Broncoride you are definitely . You have one of the most informative and best presented you tube broadcasts on the PA.
And you are a cool dude no doubt.
Thanks for that. Up until now none of my bikes (HDs) have had TC so good to know how to turn it off in this mode.
Glad I could help.
This needed to be done, meaning making a video on it. Great job and I subscribed to another fellow maryland Pan America Rider :) I’m at a pasadena where are you at? I created a mode called hooligan mode where it’s basically off-road plus but with the high power setting of sport mode it has no front lift mitigation the highest suspension travel and just a hoot and a holler but mainly for on road. I’ll probably make a video of that one just for fun. Thanks again and great job!
I followed you a while back. Ty for doing the FB group too. I live in Mechanicsville. Think about an hour or so from you. We need to ride.
How did you make the hooligan mode!? Think you can make a video of how to? Thanks
@@ScottRod_781 sure..I’m on a big ride but I’ll do it when I come back!
Thanks for the info... Like you I would have assumed if its showing TC it would means its on, not off. ... I agree a line through would be more helpful.
The electronic "rider aids" can mess you up riding off-road. This really highlights some of the differences between the road and the trail, what keeps a rider safe and in control on asphalt, has the opposite effect on dirt....
Absolutely. Need to get experienced like you.
Ive been playing in the grass with OR plus. Love it. This is very informative. Thank you!!
Ah, the grass. First time I rode in wet grass was an experience for sure.
Man, this was some great information. Thanks for sharing it with us. Now order the heater for the garage your bikes need to stay warm. Ride Safe
Please come over and install one. Thanks in advance.
That bike sure opened up a whole new world of riding for you. Nice bits of info bro. Be safe out there.
Thank you my friend. Completely different experience with this bike.
Good information for the future. Hope HD watched this. That icon is confusing, abs one is perfect.
Little annoyances in life, right?
Really good info and love how you showed the part if the ride that was impacted by the points your making. Great video
You gotta learn from the failures. I enjoyed falling though. Lol
That’s really helpful, thanks! It’s kind of confusing.
Thank you Tim and it definitely is confusing.
Great info!....now I need to talk the wife into getting a PA so I can play around with these modes!!🤣👍...great video...stay safe....ride safe!!
It is such a fun bike. Having a blast with it.
Great video! Thanks for sharing the info.
You’re welcome
I see you continue to bond with the (GS), sorry the Pan Am. Stay safe Happy Christmas.
I see what you did there. 😎
Flashing means wheels haven’t turned enough yet to register the sensors on the computer. They disappear once you’re rolling
So...if you want to wheelie...go to off road , hold mode till it turns to off road plus , then hold TC button till it stops flashing , and wheelie away ...Is that right?
Yes, it pretty much turns off front-wheel mitigation. Haven’t personally tried it yet but was told you can turn off on any ride mode.
@@Broncoride ok I give it a try.. I was told road mode can't be messed with, when you bring it up there is no options on the right.. might be able to start from road while creating personal mode haven't tried yet. Thank's for content and responding.
Hey-wow!thsi is nice shots. goodbye!~Broncoride, 😇
Thank you
so when would you want to turn off traction control fully? If you put bike into offroad plus will it allow you to wheelie?
Water crossing normally and you still have some TC on even in off-road plus but least of all modes.
How do you like the tank bag? is it a pain to fill up the bike?
I like it overall. Takes very little time to detach for filling up.
so does this mean that after doing all these steps, every last bit of abs and tc interference front and back is completely gone as if it were a dirtbike? i need to know this before i buy a pan america.
From the manual: Turning off Traction Control fully disables TSC and Front lift mitigation(wheelie control).
In off-road plus mode, this turns off rear ABS. The TCS provides the least intervention available.
If you ride in off-road plus mode, and turn off traction control, you will be good. Hope this helps. Page 98, 112, and 113 in manual.
What's with the football on the tach?
? What time in video?
@@Broncoride 3:10 ish
Holy ass-backwards HD. Good American Engineering.
Pretty much
My bikes are all pre-electronics, traction control resides in the right wrist. Hard to believe you'd have traction control keeping the wheel from spinning when you WANT it to!
Haha, true words.
7:20 in to learn how to actually turn it off. Your welcome
Ty Jason. Should have done chapters.
I think its written in the manual,..but as usual no one reads it.., thx for info
It is, but have seen many people talk about not understanding it, so figured I’d show people.
@@Broncoride you made life easier...thx a lot
I want a pan America. I don't want abs or traction control.
It’s nice to have in some instances
