Seems simple enough, but what if you don't have one of the documents on their checklist (birth certificate, citizenship)? Will they accept a copy if you don't have an original? Generally a passport would be considered as sufficient to show where you are from/born as that already is a legal government issued document.
I'm trying to help a friend, she will soon be 21, She was born in the US and her mom and dad were deported when she was 3 she stayed with her Grandmother. Now she wants to help them come to the US. Can I file the paper work for Her? What forms will I need to use? Thanks so much David Rogers

Good morning sir. I am waiting to get my papers .All i heard is other stuff what about people like me who pay their money waiting for 2 are more years.
hello! if you travel to the usa on a visitor visa, can a us citizen file for you? and if so, would you be able to travel back the your home country or you have to remain in the usa until the process is over?
@dontsayittwice, if the USC is the spouse or adult child, yes they can file. If the filing is done before the visitors visa is expired, then a travel permit will be issued in about 3 to 6 months.
Thank you so much GN Sub! Keep an eye on the visa bulletin. When the date gets close to your priority date(date of filing), then you can start making inquiries if the case has not been approved.
Sorry for bothering you, I asked this question on another video but then saw it was over a year old I've got a question, my gf and I have been together for 4 years but haven't been able to see eachother due to Covid for the past two years (she's from Spain and I'm from the US) what do we need to do to be able to get married? It's so frustrating all the hoops we have to jump through just to be together.
Hi Graylaw TV! I just finally got my 4 year divorce finalized and now I want to bring my pregant Brazilian fiance to the USA. We were thinking about doing a fiance Visa, but is that the best choice? Or should we consider another option?
Good one... thanks for posting this video.
@vasu, thank you very much!
Very helpful!! Thank you my brother
@ruggz, you are welcome my brother!!!

Yes they will accept a copy. Passports are good to prove US Citizenship, but not foreign birth. Good seeing you my friend!
I was filed for by spouse. However paperwork was discontinued. How can I tell if a social security card/number was issued for me?
Thanks again
Always welcome
I would like to file for residency for my relatives. I have grandkids, too. My question is, should I file Form I-130 for my grandkids as well?
Great great great as usual
👍God bless
Thank you! You too!
Will they accept copies of Marriage, Birth Certificate and passport?
yes copies are preferred. you must bring originals to the inerview.
