Ignatz is my favourite character, so seeing him not only be useful, but having the "Deus ex MachIgnatz" term be coined was an absolute delight to see. This was a great video, the comedy was on point!
I used him in my first play through with BL and he was an absolute menace as a sniper. Fast forward to me recruiting him in Verdant Wind and he was so useless as both an archer and a knight he became extremely familiar with the bench for the majority of the game.

The editing in this video is really good, you can really tell a lot of effort was put into each second & paired with the really good sense of humor makes watching the whole thing feel worthwhile. Claude trying to get Jeralt's diary is probably the standout moment from the whole run lmoa.
The dedication to make every combat sound be the GBA sounds alone makes this video impressive. But everything else makes it amazing. And Lorenz fought for his morals to the bitter end.

I've always wanted to see a "Hidden talents only" run. You have to use classes and weapons related to each character's hidden talents. Probably only an early game challenge as I imagine that once you get the talent to blossom the game plays out like normal, but it may still make for an interesting game as you can see characters doing things you wouldn't traditionally expect.
Crimson Flower would probably be the best route for that, since Edelgard has Reason for her budding talent. Dimitri and Claude have Riding and Axes respectively, so those probably wouldn't be too different from regular runs.
@@Lauren-tg5jjah, but in Three Hopes, Dimitri's (and Bernadetta's) Riding Budding Talent is revealed to lead to Great Knight, so I imagine you'd need to rush Dimitri to at least Armored Knight as well as Cav before the time skip (assuming you're not relying on repeating months/infinite Normal battling), and also forcing Bernadetta to use two of her weapon anti-proficiencies in Axes and Armour for the challenge
I wonder if you'd use the Three Hopes Innate Abilities system for characters who don't canonically have a Budding Talent in Three Houses? Though I don't know if it's even possible to find eight spare Dark Seals in a run to take Felix, Sylvain, Ignatz, and Balthus all the way to Dark Bishop 🤔

So, i’m new to your channel and this run came up in my recommended and I have to say, you were able to keep my attention the entire video. The sound effects for attacks, boosts, combat arts were really consistent (as were Lorenz’s demise), and the jokes were really creative/ unique and most of all, hilarious. A heavily underrated video for the Three Houses community.
Ironically this would be the video that got me to actually play the three houses cartridge I have had for over a year now. Thank you for showing me that the game is easier than it really should be :D

I recruited everyone but Felix and Caspar (nothing against them, Byleth just didn’t have enough WExp in swords/gauntlets), so I could’ve done the Linhardt/Leonie paralogue. However, 1) Fog of War map, 2) I was playing this like an Ironman and I was not confident in fighting The Immovable without heal magic, and 3) The Inexhaustible is only useful in normal combat on Player Phase and since I basically always used Combat Arts, I just wouldn’t get much use out of it.

Ignatz is strangely better in maddening mode than he is on hard. Probably because his reliability means more.
