Wonderful teaching
1 Kings 8:27 points to God's omnipresence. Just as the ocean fills a bucket submerged at the bottom while also containing the bucket, God permeates His universe while also containing the universe. God is not contained, He contains. God bless!
Thanks Pastor

Greetings from Malaysia, Pastor Skip! I follow most of your bible lessons and it has benefitted me much.
May I politely point out that the person who was strucked by lighting was Uzzah and not Ahio?
In 1 Kings chapter 8 verse 46, King Solomon says, "When they sin against you -- for there is no one who does not sin..." Paul understood this statement from Solomon in the New Covenant Scriptures when he writes, "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" -- (Romans 3:23). Again, Paul highlights this sin situation when he also writes, "All who sin apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law. For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God's sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous." -- (Romans 2:12-13). That all Gentiles sin in their consciences that God gave them, and all Jews sin when they break the law, and God judges that accordingly (Ecclesiastes 12:13-14). In Proverbs, the Bible says, "Who can say, 'I have kept my heart pure; I am clean and without sin?'" -- (Proverbs 20:9). The problem of the sinfulness situation goes back to what God told Noah, "Never again will I curse the ground because of humans, even though every inclination of the human heart is evil from childhood." -- (Genesis 8:21). That either, there are those who act like Satan who love evil -- as there is enmity between God's people and those who love evil (Genesis 3:15) -- or God's people who are not fully refined in repentance (Philippians 2:12-15) who struggle with sinful inclinations, as what God told Cain still applies as Paul also applies in the New Covenant Scriptures, "If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must rule over it." -- (Genesis 4:7). Paul writes in accordance to this, "So I find this law at work. Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me." -- (Romans 7:21). The "law at work" that Paul describes is the spiritual reality that humans deal with similar to Cain, especially since we are not in humanity's innocent situation that was in the Garden of Eden, that "sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must rule over it."
34:00
24:40 what was the cloud
Why is it that king Solomon’s life and other kings’ lives and the battles are in the Bible?
👍 And we love you🙏 I started at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa in 1972. I remember you from then to now
At 34.40 Skip has some wingspan, when doing the demo for proper prayer. not bad for an elder gentleman. Might come in handy on the volleyball or basketball 🏀 court.
24:55 we don’t talk like that
Pride and prejudice.
