Man I'm so fucking stoked to hear the rest of this album. This song sounds like a good blend of Necroticism and Heartwork, with a small touch of Symphonies. Would love to hear more grind elements in the rest of the album, if we're lucky.
Fucking legends. This sounds right in the middle of Necroticism's evil technicality and Heartwork groove and melodies. This album will be one of their classics.
I was listenning to carcass a few days ago unaware of this release and asking myself if they were even considering bringing back the element to their songs. Really glad to see it happening. It is a great time for the band and the sound is great. Can't wait for this album.
yesterday i was sad for many reasons, hear this song in the middle of night of my favorite band with a fresh sound and Bills vocals back, makes me very happy
I’m extremely chuffed about the nod to an older incarnation of their sound. I am of the opinion that Symphonies is their best album because the melodies were sinister sounding as opposed to the sweeter sounds from Heartwork onwards. Some of the harmonies are a little too pretty and melodic for my taste but this new song seems to have dialed back that appropriate for some old schools evil…definitely looking forward to this. Bill Steer is extremely underrated as a player and influence on extreme metal as a whole.
So glad they haven't just repeated the sound of Surgical. Could have easily copied a winning formula. Keep evolving! This is a banger, and easily my most anticipated album of 2021! Bill Steer rules.
It’s more like they have devolved so to speak, it’s much more of a classic carcass sound which I am really really liking . I don’t think surgical was a “winning formula” at all , I personally didn’t care for the album tbh , they lost their identity , sound and focus in my opinion. This is a classic proper carcass sounding song \m/
@@JoseJr1977 It’s fine to have opinions but objectively Surgical didn’t sound or feel anything like ndti , (my favourite carcass era/album) this does .On surgical they sounded like a band trying to sound modern , this sounds like vintage carcass.
While not as heavy as the old days... This is sounding so much better than they have in years! I love that Bill's low vocals are incorporated and the grindcore elements mixed with the modern stuff adds punch 👊
Thanks a lot i salute your courage and determination to choose me as your favourite among others even thoug i'm not the best it's not really easy to support someone thanks for your kindness towards me.
Love the thrashy melodeath style they have now. I like everything they released. My favorite era will always be Symphonies-Necroticism-Heartwork but this is very cool
yes. this sounds like it couldve been released in '93. This drummer, Daniel Wilding, it seems has that Ken Owen vibe. Who I think brought just as much as Bill and Jeff to the Carcass sound.
perfect.....these guys never disappoint me,been a fan since the very first demo i heard from them yes that long ago....carcass are the only band i recommend to people, im 54 now

Played this to my 76 year old mum! Her review "Not my thing but not bad". She also added "I love Carcass anyway because they make you so happy".
Awwwwww
God bless your mom
reminds me of when I was a teen my Grandma asks me "whose concert you going to see tonight love?"
"....hatebreed"
"they sound lovely dear"

Well said 🤘
This is the first song of theirs I've liked since the Necroticism album, it's pretty cool
@Dawn Razor well said
Reminds me more of Symphonies. Much cleaner of course.
Tell me about it!!! These guys grind anything 🤜☠️🤛

Some Symphonies of Sickness sprinkled in as well and Tools of the Trade. Torn Arteries will be astounding 🤘

bill backing vocal returns!!!
YES! LOVE it.
This element made me so happy to hear today. That's something I've missed for so long now. It is the Carcass sound to me

Doesn't sound like Bill !!!

Metal heals!
old school Carcass with modern sound = perfection \m/
It's not too modern, thankfully. Cause Surgical Steel was way too polished. This one's crisp, but it still sounds natural enough.
everything: rots
banana: only becomes better
that's fair, since bananas are so fucking nasty they have nowhere to go but up
Hoooray Bill's vocals are back!
They were on the last album too!
Classic Carcass! This tune kicks ass. These guys never disappoint. Looking forward to hearing the entire album in September. Just take my money.
Indeed, I think so! I've just heard the new EP of Carcass, "Despicable." I can't help waiting for the new album of them.
Pandemic: *delays the album*
Carcass: "hold our vegetable heart"
Hey Nice Mr Bungle photo :)
Correction. Fruit heart. Peppers and zucchini are both fruits. 🤓

Crazy to hear Bill in back vocals again and some Grind parts. This is a masterpiece, Carcass has do it again.
He did vocals on the last album too.
@@VambeefcoHorzey Less of them, though.
@@Admiral_Bongo There are only a few phrases on this one too. Bill's never going to be co-vocalist again as he prefers to concentrate on guitar.
@@VambeefcoHorzey He was when I saw them play a couple of weeks ago.
@UberNoodle He does lead on one live song (Exhume to Consume), otherwise Jeff does all his parts.
The album art looks pretty fit for human consumption

Chuffed! Barney Greenway of ND would be proud.
Bill and Jeff are monumental. Their influence on extreme metal can't be overstated
symphonies ! best album by them

Incredible. Bill is god.
Dan was the perfect choice for a drummer for them. Rock solid, tasty work.
Totally agree. Ken had a style that was the heart of Carcass’s sound and Dan nails it. I couldn’t imagine Carcass with a different drum feel.
Bill's lows are so goooood. Looking forward to the album!
The drums are front and center. I love it.
I hope they add The Living Dead at the Manchester Morgue as a bonus track like they did with Intensive Battery Brooding in Surgical Steel.
So happy these guys are still active, and I'm fucking prepared to be blown away by the new album
I don't mind "Necroticism 2" with better sound production.
10/10 song

Everyones choice to eat what they want but veganism is good. Also every meat eater should eat real authentic meats
Carcass spreading very good and brutal music to us all.
