Hi there, if you apply online, you won’t have to submit your passport with your application. They’ll let you know if you need to send it after you apply. Student visa is now evisa which means they won’t stick a label on your visa.

She visited Nz when she was 17 on a visitor visa as my sister lives there. She lived for 2 months and came back . We never thought she will be going for her masters abroad as she never discussed nor we but post her graduation in India her father asked her to get a masters from abroad as it will give a very different perspective and exposure , so here now we are, waiting for her study visa for Nz as it’s one of the safest country My question is : Do immigration check her previous stay ? Her fathers ITR and accounts were verified then and same for now also .. Will Nz immigration release the visa soon 😊
Hi thanks for your feedback and congratulations to your daughter for her admission. I cannot say how Immigration NZ conducts their assessment neither can I tell you when they’ll approve the visa. But I know they can access her history in NZ. It’s up to them to decide if that’s important to her application or not especially if it falls outside the timeframe (usually 5 years ago) stated in the visa application form.
