Great info video brother! Bought 2 of these in white/black stripes and beige. They are awesome. Since these run a size or half bigger and I got a painful condition called Morton’s neuroma, my orthotic insoles fit in perfect.
For year's all I'd wear was samba trainers. The blue suede. My dad always had a fresh pair too, ever since the 70s. I never owned any in the black suede though. I'll get some for sure.🙌
Im an SL72 fan been wearing them back then but they became too expensive here in the Philippines. Sambas are good but they are a bit flat for me. SL72s have more cushioning and feet wont get tired wearing the and walking the whole day.
I bought them in size UK 9.5 but unfortunately they were kinda big for me when my other shoes are that size and I haven't had any problems with those. I'll be getting them in UK 9 now because my feet are 26 cm long but I like having a bit of room within the shoes but not that much. By any chance, is the insole in these stuck onto the shoe? I tried removing them from the SL 72 RS I had got but it felt they were glued there so I didn't want to brute force them out or anything.
This is a classic looking silhouette has the OG vintage vibes which is a good look right about now. I like the fact Adidas has claimed that 50% of this retro is from recycled material. This is a simple looking sneaker however it is versatile and due to simplicity can work with alot of outfits. Are you in the market for these?
@@sneakypeaks I do have a pair, and I'm not really blown away by them but they are nice. The SL 72rs look better and will be my next purchase. Keep up the good work!
@@Evus-st5di I do love the SL72 RS, I wore them this weekend. Really like the look. Have a look at the Somoa as well. They will be releasing at the end of the week. They do look nice aswell. Will probably be my next purchase.
They cater to 2 different clientele really. There is an argument for both and it also depends on the look you are looking for. I have both and pair them up differently.
@sneakypeaks Can't you see and feel the difference??? Visually you can tell the difference between SL 72 and Samba, A possible "alternative to Samba can be Gazelle, Spezial, Tobacco, Munchen, Hamburg, Velosamba, Busenitz and AS250. Do your research before saying they are similar to eachother.
@@wewindvd mate not sure what you are on about. An alternative can be anything really as it is another option, another option does not have to be from the same ilk. My video was titled "Don't buy the Sambas before having a look at the SL72 RS" so I am putting something on the table for people to consider other then the Sambas.
@ SL 72 deserves no comparison nor as an alternative to Sambas, it has it’s own character and style. That’s my take. Anyway, thanks for answering to my comments. I’m waiting for my putty grey colorway SL 72, and i really love that unique colorway. All the best

hi there, i would like to ask if this shoe is worth the price for a daily beater and training shoe that would last that long? and if compared would you recommend the nike p6000 in the black cool colorway or the adidas SL-72 in this particular colorway?
Hi personally I can wear these as a daily. In the summer as they are so light. I wouldn't use it as a training shoe as I can imagine it falling apart quite quickly. Your question about the P6000 over the SL72. For me it's the SL72 by a long shot as I am bias. I don't really like the P6000. Thanks for watching and commenting. 🤙🏿
RIP SL72. Terrible redesign not that they should EVER be redesigned. Too late now. WAY too much cushioning SL72 by name only. More like platform shoes. Absolute tragedy.
I can't say i have had the OG SL72. However as this is no longer a running shoe and more of a lifestyle shoe it's more fitting with the modern day. So I like what adidas done especially for the price. But thanks for your opinion appreciate the comment.

Thanks bro appreciate it. I'm glad these shoes works for you.
I have the cloud white and black ones. They are so comfy and runs like a charm.
Good choice. They're surprisingly comfortable.
can you use them as a daily shoe for running and daily beating for a long time?
@@aryakawi6042 daily beating yes. Running, personally I wouldn't.

Sambas are classics and are good looking shoe so don't blame you. The black suede is a nice choice. And also like the Samba XL they look good as well.

Hi, I agree in terms of comfort, SL72's brings that bit of extra cushioning then the Samba’s. I also think they look better as well.

Yeah because the upper is so thin I took the chance sizing down and it paid off. With the insole it does seem glued on.
Hello Sir, are these shoes suitable for a hot summer?
Thanks
They're are quite light and the majority of the upper is nylon and not much padding inside so I would say so.
Would this be ideal for people with wide feet? Thanks!
There is more space then the originals but you might need to size up if you are a wide footers.
Great production! What are your thoughts on the Adidas country OG?
