❤ I read a story of Luke. His family was own by a citizen of Rome. His dad died and the owner married Luke's mom. That's how he got to be educated to be a doctor. There's was a man needing a doctor. Luke didn't like this man for had a sexual disease. The man told Luke he could all that he wanted if he'd get his son back. The son was a slave. Luke bought and sent home. Luke didn't anything. Went on with travels.

What if all or some at least left because the Lord called them elsewhere. I’ve seen where ministers were called somewhere else and the primary pastor got offended at it. So what if God was looking for the primary pastor to come back to a closer relationship with Him and having their trust in Him more than the others. It’s easy to get to rely on others more than the Lord. I don’t recall who it was in the Old Testament who said I alone am left that sill follow you Lord. And God answered I have 6000 who haven’t bowed the knee to Baal or whoever it was. You know what I
mean? People come and go and yes there are those who deny Jesus but a pastor has to keep his attention and trust on Him above all else and not think that wether there are a lot or little in their congregation is an indicator of anything except maybe your pride. So the question is when the man who left you, did you do all that you do as unto the Lord like it says in the Bible or even just because you saw the calling of God on his life, and pray diligently for him or were you offended. I’m not real sure that tough skin is the issue as opposed to forgiving like Jesus does and dying to self. It’s no longer I that lives but Christ who lives in me. When Jesus forgives He says your sins are removed as far as the east is from the west.

You're talking about another issue. Timothy is a servant of God. He knows when people are call into ministry and when people just desert the church probably because of persecution. If a man receive call of God, he must carry his pastor along and receive sincere instruction of the holy spirit which must agreed with your spirit. Timothy and Paul knew exartly what they were saying.
