“Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime” I thought of this quote when hearing about how Gabe gave the book to Zac. Instead of giving him the money, he gave him a tool to help achieve future success! :)
Heyy, just letting you guys know this is has been a huge encouragement for me as a young adult trying to navigate my community and grow in my faith through the difficulties of university and finances and making hard decisions which piles up and becomes overwhelming sometimes. Very thankful for your wisdom and your heart in this podcast, much love!! ~Mikaela
Love the point Gabe mentioned for people in power, unemployment is at an incredibly high point bc of the pandemic but it will just get worse just giving hand outs. Just like another comment said “ give a man a fish he has food for a day, teach a man to fish he has food for a lifetime” this is something my father said constantly growing up, and I believe truly is the key to be a successful adult. But sadly I was talking with a friend who may lose their job and I asked what’s your plan b and they said to go on unemployment, seriously too, and for me I would have many plans to figure it out and pray to God I never get on unemployment because you may never get out.
Great stuff! Something I really enjoyed was what Chad was saying about how you need different people in your life. That is so true you want people that can pour into your to help you grow but you also want to pour into people and help them grow.
I think this biggest lesson I have learnt coming into adulthood is for sure don't expect things to be given or done for you. You often have to work hard and you'll reap the fruits of that
Amazing podcast! ♥ I Love it! Wish it was a little bit longer tho - an hour or so maybe!? But great job, I love listening to it! ♥ Greetings from Bulgaria! ♥
Hey guys! I’m a really big fan! I have a question for Gabe. How did you make your own clothing brand? I’m trying to start up one but i don’t know where to start. Thank you for your time
not sure why dropping a class as soon as they teach something that you disagree with or that challenges your point of view is something to feel proud of, but ok
