Frank, Thank you for this video! I'm heading to Hawaii next week and was planning to take my QRP-Guys QDX to do FT-8 from the beach, but it only does 80, 40, and 20 mtrs. I would really like to do 17 mtrs and my G90 will. So used your link to order the DigiRig with rush delivery. I do plan on doing POTA and will spot when I can! ...a very timely video! W4ORH - Ron

Team replay refuels my tanks
It'll be interesting to see if the new DE-19 interface from Xiegu is as simple as the DigiRig! (the DE-19 will replace the CE-19 for the G90 and G106). Also in WSJT-X it "should" install the needed USB interface software as part of its main install and you can take Xiegu X-108 as the radio or IC-7000 - both will work.
I will have to look into this I don't know the answer offhand

Frank, I've read the digirig directions multi-times. Yet no luck. Can you please clarify the proper defaults on the Playback/Recording
I don't have that info right now., but i am working on trying to put together a guide to help out more then these videos.
JS8CALL my program. However getting it to work with Digirig and Winlink Express. I thought FT 8 was 14.074 etc
I haven't used JS8CALL and WinLink yet. Its on my list.
@@TankRadio I prefer JS8Call as I can chat with others. FT 8. The computer is doing it. Using JS8Call Utilises I can send text, email plus Sota, not that I'll be doing that from a walker. 73
why flrig? Can’t you just use wsjt-x to control the rig?
With the DigiRig, i needed Omni Rig as middle ware to interface to wsjt-x.
@@TankRadio I wAs just trying to understand why, is it that wsjt-x doesn’t have a rig type natively that matches?

I used flrig instead of Omni rig.
I will have to check that out
Flrig has the g90 as an option too. You don’t have to lie to it and tell it your g90 is a Icom

Every time I push Test CAT i get an error that the port is not available or an error that the rig is not responding, ahhhh
