If I owned a grocery store in SF I would announce that I was closing in 6 months every month to get around that new law. Or, just flat-out close right away.
You could open for one hour every couple of weeks and have empty shelves when you do open.

My organization used to alternate between San Diego and San Francisco for their annual conference. It got to where people refused to go to San Francisco.

No, Newsom and the legislature are elected by their constituents. The constituents can vote to recall them, but not sue them. The citizens deserve all their elected officials have to offer until they elect a new bunch. Let's hope that they wise up and elect wisely next time.

I've worked security at places with man traps. I press a button so that one person can enter a room with a camera in it, then they are locked in. I press another button and then they can enter the building and nobody can follow them. Stores need to start doing that.

0:14 this is from someone that hasn’t lived in sf for more than ten years. I’ve lived here a long time - The streets have always been like that in SF like since the 90s and the 80s . I don’t know what to tell you. I think you’re just saying stuff because you just don’t like SF and California, but if you would’ve came here 2005 through 2010 it would’ve been exactly the same, I do agree it’s mostly due to our government who allowed these businesses to flood into California, but did not fix the prior problems. You can’t have major retail without fixing the old issues of crime. It’s just gonna come back later on.
