Your biggest headache could be getting those old glowplugs out. They're renowned for being really stuck, breaking off and causing a world of pain but don't worry , there's hundreds of videos that describe the problem and advice about how to do it.
Had this a few times on diesels mark, its most likely the preheat timer/ relay that has failed, ( you only have 1 bank of cylinders as its a 4cyl, same code comes up on V6 models) if so its heating the plugs all the time which will do damage (also why you are getting implausible manifold temp reading), dont drive it until you have fixed it, dealers often put P/X cars through copart if its nearer than a conventional car auction, copart attracts a much larger audience........period!
Hi MARK. I have a 2015 model same car I love it had for 3 years now - I believe it has Renault engine I paid £10.000 for it so I would think you have a fair margin to play with- mine has less miles 72.000 good luck !!!!

Yeah, I bought an unclassified.. it was mutton dressed as lamb. Looked ok and very clean inside. But the gear box was shot. So I’m selling it for what I bought it for hopefully..

Nice car Mark. Possibly finance reposed. Nice colour. You can go to any Mercedes specialist and they will print out the service history for free
German car auto gearbox are always creamy smooth, hope it it's not expensive to fix the problem it s a great looking car

If the glow plugs snap upon removal it will devalue car .

I'd be tempted to use it daily for a week or so before you start fiddling with it. There could be intermittent or hidden faults.

Don’t buy diesel they don’t sell easily now a days I buy petrol unrecorded fix them and they sell very fast.

They lost their job because of their incompetence then.
If the battery was flat I’d clear the codes and run it to see what comes back before you end up chasing faults that aren’t there

I recently did a v62 with a 23 year old Mercedes and the v5 came in around 2 weeks.
