I've been playing this build for a few weeks right now, except I don't trust Evasion so I went for Armor based instead (you basically just replace the right side of the tree with the left side). Damage is REALLY good - bosses melt and melt fast. But because it's ES based, sometimes sustain can be a problem, you don't regenerate nor leech enough ES back, so it's a question of dodging stuff and manually casting your Guard skill whenever possible. Some other stuff I noticed when fiddling around with this build: - Dex requirement is REALLY finnicky - I got a good base ring with T1 Dex and crafted from there, I rolled Dex essences on my gloves, and still barely mananged to hit the 212 needed for the Cospri's Malice. - a lv 21 Precision + Blind from Disorienting Display isn't enough for 100% accuracy - you'll need around +400 acc on gear. Easiest way to get it is from a fractured glove. - you can get away with using non-Tailwind boots by getting "increased cooldown reduction/drops brittle ground on movement" from Eater/Exarch implicits. It really helps hitting 100% crit with minimal crit investment on the tree. - I don't like the Threads of Hope on this build. Resistances are a bitch to get, and Threads of Hope applies a -20% penalty to all, just to get one or two passives. What I do is, I grab the entire cold cluster on the top of the tree (it provides huge damage and it has a nice "increased effect of cold ailments" node which improves the crit you get from brittle ground). Which also frees one jewel slot for... - Small cluster jewels. An armour one with the "get endurance changers every second when hit recently" notable is really good, specially because I grab the "+1 max endurance charges" on the left side of the tree. A curse effect one with "Culling strike against enemies cursed by you" is also very good frees a gem link from Vortex (I run Vortex - Bonechill - Culling Strike - Arcane Surge). - I don't like Mark on Hit. It doubles Assassin's Mark mana cost for very little benefit. I just cast it manually on bosses and tough rares. - I also don't run Skitterbots. My mana reservation setup is Discipline - Herald of Ice - Tempest Shield - lv 4 Enlighten (got lucky corrupting one of those!), and then Precision and Aspect of |the Spider unlinked. The reason for TS is shock immunity; I don't like being vulnerable to shock when not at maximum power charges. If mana wasn't so tight I'd run Skitterbots instead of Herald of Ice. - speaking of mana, the loss of Replica Conqueror's Efficency was THE real bummer for this buid. I dropped perhaps the WORST Militant Faith in the game ("+accuracy to minions/+defenses on equipped shield per 10 devotion" implicits), so I don't get any help there yet. I try to compensate by having as much "% reduced mana cost of skills" rare jewels as I can and having "-8 to cost of all skills" crafted on both rings (yu craft -7 and then use Fertile Catalysts to 15% to increase it to -8). Getting the "+3 to level of all critical gems" Crit Mastery helps a bit because it increases the level of Inspiration, which ends up reducing the mana cost of the main Ice Nova by a little bit. - anyway, you'll eventually notice that bleed is the main cause of death; unless you can get 100% reduced duration on jewels, I recommend an Eternal Mana Flask with "effect is not removed when at maximum mana/immunity to corrupted blood and bleed" affixes. It also helps immensely with your mana problems. - Instead of Frostbolt/Ice Nova/GMP, on the Cospri's Malice, I run Frostbolt/Creeping Frost/Volley. Volley has a smaller mana cost multiplier than GMP/GV (130% vs 150%), so it helps with mana sustain. Creeping Frost "shotguns" the cold explosion part of the skill if the projectiles explode very close to each other, which is very easy to do since you're cycloning and your cursor should usually be very close to you.
- evasion usually gives more to ES base build (we all remember old trickster ES ED survivability righ?) cuz you more often get more time without damage and ES recharge starts sooner. I'd better lose some damage and hit spell sup cap instead and/or spell block and es per block/per sup hit . Block'd also helps ES sustain. - about non-Tailwind boots and brittle - you lose ~0.8aps = ~15% damage. You get only 2% brittle effect against uber pinnacle (even with cold cluster). - assasin's mark it is not only about damage it is a tremendous Occultist's QoL for mapping due to Forbidden Power and constant non-random power charges generation from the mark and mana sustain. - the reason for TS is because you droped assmark. You'd created and problem and solved it. Endurance charges is good tho. - creeping frost good with nimis (but its gone) and with combination with ice spear and proj scaling and overlaps. Without it all you have is a single target DPS and that's it. But sure if you want to lock 100+div build inside tunnel maps or boss farm only.... - personaly I don't understand the whole point about mana problem. Part of it should be related to assmark drop. No curse = no mana back on kill sure another created problem. But for single target you have 300+ mana leech...I'm lost. Really want to see the original PoB without all of the swaps above. Something is definitely messed up.
@@elistrago1820 u dont care about shield recharge cuz of leech\on hit. also truly endgame version of this, able to do ubers, is based exactly on armor and aurora universalis shield.
for everyone struggling with shield recovery with relatively low budget - u can use cdr on belt, it can be crafted for arount 2 div, and swap boots for fenumus spinnerets - its up to 30es on hit. ps: author, why not spear? it does around 2 times more damage with same clear speed cause of freezing pulse socketed in cospri

I got to maps and want to transition from the leveling trees but i dont have the currency yet to buy the jewels and clusters that are in the endgame tree, and i really want to play this build. Short Info: You dont really need to get lv 9 awk Cast on crit, lv 8 is also fine and you dont need elevated Cooldown (18 or 19% CDR or so) on boots , there are charms that grant you as much as 12% CDR , depends on how mcuh cdr you already got you can variate how much you still need, right now the charms cost around 1 Div with CDR from 9-10% 12% is 2 Div - way cheaper and faster to achieve c:

Have you tried playing? Something seems off, like nova won't trigger as often. I checked my PoB but everything looks OK. I am just a tad bit under the cap of 10.1. Sitting at 100% chance to hit and 100% crit rate, too.
@@SuperLPGaming I solved it. It had nothing to do with the cap. You can no longer have nova in both your 6-link and your cospri's because they now share a cooldown. Also, why would I even go above the cap? That's the worst possible thing one could do.

If you watched the video then you would know that I was refering to the theoretical cap of 10.1 triggers per second, where your attack/cast rate has to be lower than that, not higher. Secondly, nova on 6-link + nova on cospri's worked before the Crucible patch, when it was changed. Only the wording in the patch notes was not clear. Case in point, this build used the exact same setup. Still does last time I checked, so even the creator did not catch the change.
Can you slow down and offer explanation to these things bc effectively this is a showcase not a guide, not to come off as too brash but not all know what exactly nor how exactly these things effect to total outcome. Ty for the video still cool design just some feedback
Damn I need that watchers eye!! Been looking threw the ps5 trade and can't find one exactly lime that :( my fb raider is decked tf out tho. Only have a watcher eye with the phys to cold with hatred but then no flat cold just 43% cold damage with hatred. Lol my first shot at maven this league I literally stood still pretty much and instantly died each phase.
I got an even better one one SSF: Cold Pen with Hatred, + Crit Multiplier with Precision. It provides around 2kk damage by itself. Maven is pretty meh, I only die to her because, of course, I'm terrible at the last memory game.
Console market is always janky. Couldn't find a single surgeon's flask so I'll have to go craft those. Couldn't find that amulet either so I'm using astamentis which have me the Dex i needed. But i definitely swapped way to early. Not enough crit or DPS so out doesn't really matter that i can't find everything. I just got impatient and now i have to suffer through the grind lol
im having trouble getting 100%% crit even with all of the crit chance and multy from jewels and items:/ this build looks so fun, but sadly i wont be able to play
Having a 2nd ice nova in your weapon will brick the build. Just replace it with creeping frost. Otherwise you will lose so much dps. For more details check the comment from @retrocny5625.
I've seen this question several times now. I know it won't help OP but if someone in the future is wondering....probably don't have the 20% life reservation mastery allocated.
Got the same issues even if i have the 20% life reservation mastery. The 2% increased Reservation Efficiency of Skills doesn't seem to exist anymore **Edit ** Finally found a gem with the explicit
Having a 2nd ice nova in your weapon will brick the build, because GGG made some changes to spell triggers awhile back and essentially made it so that multiple gems of the same skill will share the same internal cooldown with one another. This means that whenever your cospri's procs the ice nova in it, it will put your main Cast on Crit linked spell on internal CD as well. For people playing this build after having not played it in multiple leagues, this is a pretty understandable mistake but a big one. It will HALVE or even further reduce your damage and ruin the trigger rate. This didn't used to be the case back in the day, but that's how it functions now. If you're getting your curse from a ring, just run like frostbolt, freezing pulse and GMP in your cospri... otherwise, put frostbite in your Cospri's and get your curse setup that way.

It's very similar, you're just spitting icy projectiles instead of ice novas.
I always felt ice Nova does better for crowd control but ice spear does better against bosses. Could just be how i move through maps though

He uses summon skitterbots because they chill enemies, and we deal increased damage against chilled enemies

How can i fit all 3 auras from the shield? Ingame it says i have not enough life for it. Each aura uses 33.33% right now

For this level many, but the basic uniques aren't that expensive uncorrupted. 10 div probably gets you started

For people playing this build after having not played it in multiple leagues, this is a pretty understandable mistake but a big one. It will HALVE or even further reduce your damage and ruin the trigger rate. This didn't used to be the case back in the day, but that's how it functions now. If you're getting your curse from a ring, just run like frostbolt, freezing pulse and GMP in your cospri... otherwise, put frostbite in your Cospri's and get your curse setup that way.

You could be getting stunned/interrupted by enemies in the pack. Stun immunity should fix that issue

@@gucioslaw14 you dont need cdr from belt. Only elevated cdr from boots+high lvl awa CoC. MB will the best choise for min/max build
