I met someone like that in my adult life. This chick IRL asked for my number and would message me almost every day, but would only send me exactly one message a day. If I asked her any questions, she wouldn't reply, and she'd always ask to meet on the weekends. When I'd show up at the place/time, she wouldn't show and message me the next day why she didn't show. I asked a few times if I was bothering her or something, she'd say no and that she liked chattin with me. After a while I stopped initiating conversation and she'd still message me a few times a week asking to hang out or how I am, then not replying to whatever I sent. I started thinking that maybe the person I was texting was a friend of hers or something, and that's why she would never show up, but then we eventually did hang out and she was perfectly normal. I'd ask about things we messaged and she confirmed them.
Some people are just very bizarre.
