Monterey Car Week Is AMAZING!

- My first day of the 2016 Monterey Car Week; I see some amazing cars and get a ride in a 1950s Ferrari 166MM Barchetta - Subscribe to STG: bitly.com/SubToSTG
My first proper day at Monterey Car Week and I go exploring. First up, I head along to Mecum Auctions and find an incredible line up of hypercars including a green carbon McLaren P1, satin black Ferrari LaFerrari, Aston Martin Vulcan, Maserati MC12 and much much more.
After a quick look at what's in the car park of the Hyatt hotel, I meet up with my friend Phil and his amazing 1950s Ferrari 166MM Barchetta and we go for a cruise.
We quickly pop into the Bonhams auction house to check out their LaFerrari as well as a Lamborghini Reventon and Porsche Carrera GT going up for sale, before finally taking the Barchetta to get refuelled.
On my drive home, I stumble upon the ItsWhiteNoise Porsche Carrera GT.

Phil is sure a fun guy to be around. That hearty laugh is infectious. On the side note, that Vulcan is now being auctioned off. Someone wants to dispose it right away. LOL

How beautiful is the Monterey/Carmel area Sam! In June i did a road trip from San Francisco to LA stopping at Monterey on the way and it was gorgeous! We also had the Mustang in the Eco Boost model! It left a little to be desired compared to the GT model as would be expected but it was a good car for the journey none the less! Enjoy yourself man!
Wish we had that weather here in southern Cali. Would love some gloominess and some rain instead of this dry heat. Oh and there's a wildfire next to me lol.

I was at Monterey the week before car week and there was a wild fire near Laguna seca....all my photos looked hazy in the background. Our hotel was smokey. And one of the entrances leading to the track was closed.....

Dude what an awesome time you must be having! The only problem is the car... Nothing against the Mustang but you got robbed considering it was supposed to be a Challenger Hellcat (707 hp vs 310 hp). Awesome editing and I'll definitely be tuning into RUclips a lot to watch all your videos for this week right when they come out. Keep up the good work!

They are not the same car. I almost thought they were the same car as well. The Ferrari 599 GTO for sale has a black interior with red brake calipers as opposed to this one which has a red interior and silver calipers. However, many of the cars he showed later, including the yellow Porsche 911 GT3 RS, are for sale by McLaren of Scottsdale, AZ.
+Sterling Wilson edit: My mistake. There are actually TWO Ferrari 599 GTO's for sale that are white with red accent stripes. The one in the video is for sale by Mecum. Sorry for being a smartass.
