I think our tastes are flipped. I really enjoyed Daisy Darker and hated Rock Paper Scissors. I think all the characters in that one were just so unrealistic. The only other one I read was Good Bad Girl and that was mid for me. I have been wanting to read His and Hers and the new one too.
First of all, I love thriller so much, so I was glad to have stumbled upon your channel through my recommendations! Second of all, I'm a huge Freida McFaden fan and I've read almost each and every of her books, except for the last two sequels to the Housemaid series. I heard, though, the reviews for both of these books don't live up to the hype as the original but I still want to dive in them nonetheless! Very random question but is Francesca an Italian name, and are you of Italian descent? Asking as a viewer with Italian and English heritage lol 🤍
Awww me too! I did the same video as this for Freida McFadden too! Let me know if you agree with my rankings ❤ and I’m English with a late father who was VERY passionate about everything Italian lol, hence my name! X
Love Alive Feeney and I can’t get enough of her . I read 3 of her books. Paper, rock, scissor; Sometimes I lied and His & Her. The twist is so crazy 🤪.just checked out Daisy Darker today 😅.
Daisy Darker was an odd one for me because i really enjoyed it despite being the type of book i generally avoid due to those elements in it never appealing with me. Was also why i feel like i am the only person who didn’t like The house across the lake… and yet Daisy Darker was a really fun read for me. Odd ones exist 😅
i've only read daisy darker and good bad girl, both were mid and just alright, i don't think i'm too crazy about them tbh lol. but i have heard SOOO much about rock paper scissors and sometimes i lie, and they've been on my tbr since ages. i should really get to them. and maybe i should also check out the others i hadn't heard of until now 💗
Hey! So great to have you here 🤩 Glad to hear it and I definitely will, right now I haven't read all of her books but once I have, consider it done! Are there any other thriller authors you would like to see?
@@pavisfrancesca I’m a bit of a newbie to thriller books so still exploring authors! Just read my first Claire Douglas though which I loved so would be good to see how you’d rank her books too!
Whichever takes your fancy! I’ve described a little of the synopsis of each book in the vid, but you may enjoy different ones to me, these are just my opinions ❤
I stick mostly with Darcy Coates. Her books are good and little cussing,no sex or other crap that's in books now. Are Alice Feeneys books pretty free of that stuff?
You most certainly don't have to respond to this (obviously), but as one who lived in England years ago and have been back once since, where does your accent hail from? I'm afraid to guess for fear of being way off.
I quite enjoyed "His And Hers". But "Good Bad Girl" was so bad and so full of philosophical observations that the author clearly thinks are profound but instead are tawdry and obvious, I don't know whether I can pick up another one of her books! The four main characters all knew what was going on and simply withheld it from the reader. SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS Why is Clio paying Patience to help break Edith out of the home when she keeps saying she has no money? Why can Clio absolutely not have Edith stay with her when that's what ends up happening anyway? If they have video evidence of the nursing home owner trying to unalive Edith, why not use that as proof of self-defence instead of contriving a crime scene that only brings them a ton of unwanted police attention? END SPOILERS It made no sense! 😆😭😩 I have "Sometimes I Lie" on Kindle, but I'm wary, lol. Great video.
She is a favorite of mine. I adore Daisy Darker. A 5 for me by far.
Oooh interesting! So glad you loved Daisy Darker
*UPDATE: Alice Feeney is sending me a copy of Beautiful Ugly, updates to come 🤩*
omggg cant waitt

No way! I do get why people like Daisy Darker I just found it sooooo slow ❤️🩹
I haven’t read from Alice Feeney before but I want to! Been on a massive thriller kick recently and I just can’t get enough👀
Love it!! Absolutely the best genre (obviously bias hehe)

Loving these author videos. Not read any Alice Feeney but I've added Rock Paper Scissors to my list 👍😁
So glad!!! Clare Mackintosh is next up 😊 Are there any other authors, you would like to see?

Interesting! I totally get why people like Daisy Darker I just didn't click with the build up. The House Across the Lake on the other hand I LOVED! 🥰

Yes definitely, easily my favourites ❤

Excellent video. Thanks.
Very welcome Karen, glad it was useful 😊
New subscriber! 👋 Loving your videos and reviews - would love to see how you’d rank Lisa Jewell’s books in a video 😊

I hate rock paper scissors... it was very unrealistic.. I wasn't able to connect with the characters till the very end ... idk why!!
Aw sorry to hear that! It is a little slower to start than some other books
oh one sec, did i miss your rating of his and hers or did you miss mentioning it in the video? 🥲😂
I did mention it! 3rd fave ❤
@@pavisfrancesca lovely! ❤️ i meant the star rating haha
@@bushraansari9870 oh sorry haha! Not sure, but I gave it 4 stars 🤭❤️
