I found this so helpful. I have mistyped myself as a soft natural and came out as a soft classic. Where the inspo for SN is heavily leaning into boho styles, most style inspo for SC is very much based on Grace Kelly. It's lovely to see more contemporary examples. I have never 'seen' my classic lines, esp. after gaining a little weight but this has been very insightful. Thank you.

I am a cool summer . I love soft classic, in jewltones colours . I love neutrals . But my black is soft and muted blacks . I love medium gray and charcoal. Some romantic or ethereal elements add this softness.
I love all other classic types you mentioned and I may use them as a twist with my soft classic or as a change or in occasions .

Just found you and I read something years ago about soft-straight dressing which is the term the author used. To this day - as a soft classic - I still remember that term when I dress. You are so spot on. I can wear a flowy maxi skirt but I have to have a structured top with it and I feel great. Can't do all straight - can't do all soft - has to be a mix. Or yes I feel frumpy. Great job!
Hi April, I am new to your channel. It is great. I am a 66 year old woman, being retired for a few years but lost my style since during my working years all i wore was work clothes. Now that I am retired I do grumpy clothes…. I think I am a classic soft and gravitate to flowy baggy tops. I’m a Soft Classic and I have a question about hair. My hair is naturally very curly, tight bouncy curls. Otherwise I’m a true Soft Classic.. how can I wear my hair in a way that will be cohesive with my Soft Classic style? (I don’t ever straighten it & I don’t want to, if possible)
