A very good review, as usual! The 1st generation ,in my opinion, had seats that were not comfortable and a deal breaker for me. Are the seats in the 2nd generation differently made?

Hey Bro. I've been following your page and watching your reviews for a long time. I must say you do great videos. This is actually my first time commenting. I have certain questions about the 2017 Porsche Panamera 4S. I planning on buying one but I really want to know more about it. Your video was helpful a lot thanks. Question about the Panamera 4S and Panamera 4S Executive. What are the notable differences and also one thing I loved about the old Panamera was the Cooler box (Refrigerator) at the rear seat, does the 2017 Model have that option? Also I'd love another video, on a test drive this time. I want to see how the Panamera 4S does on/off road. That'll be all for now.

I believe the gearbox is the PDK instead of the ZF one you mentioned in the video.
Correct its a brand new PDK exclusive to the new panamera for now. It is an 8 speed instead of an 7 speed like the other pdk's. Im a Porsche salesman if you have other questions.

The next gen 2017 Porsche Panamera is the 1st model built off the VW Group's MSB platform (support front engine and rwd or awd layouts), US models get engines that will be shared with Audi (V6 and V8 turbos) and Bentley (V8 turbo), all Panamera get Porsche new 8 speed PDK (sourced from ZF), looks better than the last gen Panamera, but with inside the VW Group, Audi’s A7 family still is VW Group’s best looking sedan

Stupid touch "buttons" ruin the car. They will get dirty from your fingerprints immediately. And the main screen is too low to be used as a touchscreen while on the road. Look at their official video - even their driver can't use it comfortably while driving. Way to ruin a good interior with craploads of unnecessary "innovation". The back is also ugly. The lights would look good on a Cayenne but they look completely foreign on Panamera. It used to be an exclusive car and now it turned into a cheap android phone with wheels. I think that since the first generation was quite polarizing due to some of the design decisions (especially the back of the car), Porsche tried to change the model so everybody would like it. Instead, I think they chose a completely wrong direction, the car simply lost the soul and now has nothing that really makes it exceptional.
Oh, and as for a good example of innovation in a luxury car's interior, look at the S Class. Not completely perfect but much much better.
