      He is ethnically a german whose ancestors migrated to Russia in the 19th century . And then they came back to germany after the fall of the Iron curtain. And now he is coming back to Russia. 😂. They are called "russlanddeutsche" . The way he spoke to putin lol. He talked to putin like he was talking to his warehouse supervisor, where probably worked at in Germany 😂😂😂😂 . Very nonchalant bordering insolent . He was asking for russian citizenship in exchange for his german one , like it was about filing a leave at work. @gustavganserpelofswanlake

      That's because Russia is the only financially free nation on Earth. They have no debt, they are not owned by the IMF, FED, or any type of bankers. They've learned from the past. No could take over Russia by force, but they tried politically by introducing communism... then financialy.
      This time around they made sure that their government is more trasnseparent with it's people. So people have trust among each other. Also they have more money than debt, and lead in number of essential industries. They never destroyed their heavy metal industries like the Europeans or even the US.
      At least US still has a good portion and is trying to bring it back.

    • @Timesobserver_Xenia
      @Timesobserver_Xenia 11 months ago +19

      That was not fluent German at all... extremely basic, with mistakes and obviously with no ability to say more, therefore he used wrong grammar and simplified phrases, plus switched to Russian...based on what I here: this person barely can speak proper German. And living in Germany during soviet times didn't mean he had to speak German at all as Russian residents kept their circle tight and kept inner communication more than integrating. Russian speaking Germans were used to spy and infiltrate. And some kgb departments had only administrative work and nothing else. The roles were different. Therefore, no need to make a one some kind of a hero with no clarity if his past activities, as well as no need to expect a one to speak a bunch of languages. And I do not think that P spreads himself that he is fluent in German or English, media and others do that themselves.

    The "German" man has a Russian first name, a Russian surname, and even a Slavic/Russian accent when speaking a few simple sentences in German-along with some grammatical mistakes. He is clearly not a native German speaker. There are between 2 and 3 million Russian migrants living in Germany, making them the second-largest migrant group in the country.
    The question is: why does Russian television make such a big deal out of a migrant with German citizenship deciding to move to Russia-going so far as to grant him an audience with the president?

    This should not be surprising Putin lived and worked in East Germany decades ago. He also attended a birthday party in Switzerland and toasted the attendees in perfect German. 😊
    Also my mother was born in the Ruhr, but closer to Aachen and Düren. It's true it was once a great industrial area as Putin referenced. I thought it was very interesting how Putin asked the gentleman for more insight and when he gave a typical vauge working class German answer of "they destroy everything" he politely laughed and wished him the best because he realized he wasn't an individual who chooses to get to the root of things. He respected him nonetheless despite this common shortcoming. I find this admirable of Putin.

      Many Germans who left Russia in the 90s or their children come back because they could not find themselves in German society. maybe this person is like that. I do not know his story. And there was no single German language for a long time, different lands were spoken in different ways. As far as I know from history, something common appeared in the middle of the 19th century.

      I've heard many ethnic Germans from Russia who decided to "repatriate" to Germany in the 90s or early 00s met this attitude of being treated as "second-rate" and "Russians", despite their efforts to speak perfect German and their love for their identity. No wonder some might choose to go back to Russia - what goes around comes around.
      And a striking contrast to how Germany treated middle-eastern immigrants who don't give a rat's arse about Germany, its culture and, oftentimes, language.

    I enjoyed Mr. Putins German conversation very much. I once sat at a South African airport, while waiting for my son, when I heard a German tourist speaking in English. He said to the person he was talking to, that he was going to speak in German instead of English as he didnt want other people to understand what he was saying.
    I could fully understand what the tourist was saying in German even though my language is Afrikaans. I have also surprised many black South Africans by speaking and understanding some of their languages, because I was born in South Africa and I grew up here in Africa My actual mother tongue language is Afrikaans.This is a language born out of Dutch, Flemish, German, French and even some black languages.Thanks Hindustan Times, for sharing this short but enjoyable German conversation by Mr. Putin.

      I feel like he wants to return to Russia to spy for Germany. Just from calling the President Vlad. The reason why I recognize these red flags is because Rasputin was highly informal with the Romanov Imperial Family. Very. Then he faked his death and assassinated them. That's because he was really Hitler in disguise. I'm just guessing.

    • @UnCertainKUnCertainJ
      @UnCertainKUnCertainJ 3 months ago

      @WōþanaR Yes, I don't want to stigmatize all the divorcees. But Putin has been described as a vampire by his ex-wife. I'm not surprised because a person yearning for power and preeminence would most likely know how to get liked, admired and so on, but it doesn't tell much of how this person really is. This guy ordered the deaths of some people dissenting with him. A costly relationship. In French we have a saying that may be translated as "you don't catch flies with vinegar", meaning you have to use something appealing to get what you want from others.

    • @WōþanaR
      @WōþanaR 3 months ago

      @UnCertainKUnCertainJ not interested in reading all that. Now, let's see how many women divorced men for seeking power & wealth (vampirism?)
