- We are at La Mon House Hotel with staff and pupils of Newtownbreda High School from way back when, remembering the good times that never should have come to an end, for the fantastic delivering School that was NEWTOWNBREDA HIGH SCHOOL.-
Excellent teachers and a great Secondary school punished by losing everything, in an incomprehensible, forced, unpopular amalgamation dictated by former baker and so called 'educationalist', O'Dowd and his non teaching pen pushing lackies down at the S E E L Board.
Thanks to Terry Gault for organising this final night of fun and memories.
It is good also to remember those members of staff and indeed pupils who are no longer with us, (please find and add to list below by posting names to me ), who contributed to making Newtownbreda HS into the fine happy caring successful school that it was. (This years GCSE and A LEVEL results rank amongst the best ever. )

I'm actually just back from the west coast of Donegal Tom, was in bundoran, Ballyshannon and Sligo having a break for 10 days, no plans to travel to Southeast Asia until early next year.

+Ryan Darcy Any day next week? Any time suitable for you. I would be happy to go back to the cemetry or wherever. I'll probably not be able to get the car as my son is using it for work but the cemetery is super.

Did you know newtownbreda high school was in a series called the venus Di milo instead?
Yes NRz, I remember the film shoot taking place when I was teaching all those years ago. There is a tape of this somewhere. Best wishes from Belfast.
I never knew that until now was it real students and teachers or actors in the uniform?
Oh it was all actors. they did uses some NHS pupils as extras though.
