I pulled this costume together and it looks pretty good. I am somewhat short- 5'3" so I only needed 2 panels of fabric to fit it to the right length.

Y'all did an awesome job on this! My 10 year old sons are inspired to hit the thrift store for belts and the harware store for dowel rods and piping. Haha!
I've been waiting for this FOREVER. I'm SO PUMPED!
I brought my costume on amazon and two long scarfs to make her sash. Just a little tweaking of my costume and I will be all set. Plus the convention is outdoor/indoor so it will be hot which fits Rey perfectly. My hair is thick and gets poofy in the heat so i might add some products to tame it. But awsome job on your costume.

Here are a few suggestions :D Rapunzel costume for sure! Not too suggestive pin-up girl + boy sailor costume. Disney Fairies group costumes or just one of the fairies. A group costume series, all from the same movie or TV show, like the fairies, Monsters Inc, 101 Dalmatians, Kim Possible or ya know not Disney is fine too :)

Wow, super DiY video, girls. Eventough I'm not a Star Wars fan I totaly liked it :) I will use the idea and make the double belt with bag and use it as an accent in my everyday outfits.

My votes for Halloween costumes: Edith Cushing's nightgown from Crimson Peak, Ravenna or Freya (or both!) from The Huntsman: Winter's War, Alice's blue dress after she shrinks in Alice in Wonderland. Black Widow from the Avengers.
