Thank you for sharing the history of cameras. That was very interesting and informative. Finding digital photography as a hobby at the age of 65 is a challenge because what I remember about cameras and photography was back in the 70's while in H.S. photography class. You really know your stuff!
Nice to see others interested in vintage digital cameras. I recently picked up a pre-micro 4/3rds Olympus 4/3rds E-420 and E-510 DLR's and their attendant 14-42 & 40-150 kit lenses. For kit lenses they are exceptionally good. I spent less than US$200 for everything.😎
Great observations and a perfect time to buy a classic! I recently bought a mint condition, low shutter count (Metal Body/weather sealed) Olympus EM-5 for $240. It was an amazing deal.
"3" on the MK2 which is "Normal". Vivid is over the top. I used to use Log a bit, but found that I didn't get appreciably better results than "3" was producing for my sunlit, super easy scenes.
Coffee and photography, two of my favorite things in life. This is the perfect channel for me. Love the content. Hope to see more.

Funny this is the way I feel for the last 2 years. I'm acquiring more and more "old" stuff.
Sometimes the old stuff is just way more interesting.
Interesting, affordable, and high quality.@@cameracafebyscott
