This car stands out in a crowd and commands attention!! The color is magnificent! It is very well put together for a Saleen Clone... Once of the best that I have personally seen!
Beautiful car/color leave it as is. Figured they would add a number on the bumper, since going to the trouble of making a plaque. The only thing it will need is a built transmission unless it's babied. My T5 blew in 3rd gear soon after i added supercharger. My 88 Saleen is deep shadow blue 7N, unfortunately has some factory paint flaking. I wanted to say i really appreciate your channel and you are one of the channels that inspired me to get my car cleaned back up and on the road after sitting in my dads barn/garage for ~18 yrs. Thanks again for your excellent content!
@@TheInfamousProject buddy it sure makes a guy feel like he is standing there looking at them sweet rides.....thanks for taking the time to make 4k videos ...i know it can be a hassle ...storage space and time is crazy ...lol... but dammmnnnnn the b roll!!!!!! is sweet!
Hey buddy Chris, the Brakes are 2014 ATS Brembo brakes and that Saleen plaque came with the intake I was told it was off a Saleen 1995 car. I'm glad to hear one of your good friends is getting the car. I vote to keep the Saleen decals they were $700 lol
I wish I could get a 5.0 one day, y had to sold mine because of a very difficult time we were having, and now day they are so expensive😢 One day I will have one.. I Loce Your videos Brother, gives me hope, love seeing those coupes, makes my day
Awesome video Chris! I enjoy hearing the stories and history behind these cars you have. I’am from Canada and can relate to all the comments you have on Canadian foxbody’s.
Man Chris that is a sweet looking Mustang, love the color and it's man blue too. That being said not a big fan of the lower stripes, but with this color, the color of the stripes. I think it is money.
Beautiful car !! Keep the stripes. , really makes the car stand out And the real Saleens had them anyway. And yes , that Kona blue is a total stand out
This car is stunning. I would definitely leave the bottom Saleen graphics on. Stern wheels in silver to match the graphics would put this already beautiful coupe over the top.
Switch to the maximum motorsports cable and quadrant. All those steeda, ford racing, etc quadrants and cables suck. The maximum uses an OEM ford cable with no adjustment on the cable. The quadrant is the only one that is properly engineered. The maximum makes the pedal feel super light even with a heavy clutch.
I always love when a mustang is wearing it's factory paint colors, but my logic doesn't work when it's a factory paint color from a later model and it looks as good as this does in saleen trim. I think even Saleen himself would have went with this color if it was available at the time. Looks perfect.
So many cars so little time. That raspberry one with Borbets is prolly the nicest looking imo but it's finished. Been waiting for the Cobra fix up...that has to be one of the most potential for high value foxes no?
Brakes look to be 00R Brembos. Saleen would have used Alcons. The intake is has the Vortech/Saleen style intake. More then likely would be Vortech, and those are selling for decent coin. The underhood data plate is completely wrong and not even close. I wish I would have known you had this one and was for sale. This is the second coupe that would have been perfect for me. Looks like you would also need a Momo steering wheel. Leave the decals on it.
Thanks for the info on the brakes! I personally feel that the alcantara FMS wheel would look sweet and match with the seats. Being a clone, you can deviate away a little.
I’d keep the stripes and the wheels for sure. Get a new dash background & get rid of that “saleen” plate under the hood. Nothing wrong with tribute cars but badging like the one under the hood that is fake just makes people think that the owner is trying to pawn it off as the real deal.
Ya I know.. the problem is I had the windows down because of no AC. I've considered some mics but it adds another element to the editing equation I just don't have time for.
Every time you talk about older paint systems being more durable than modern ones it goes beyond laughable to embarrassing. Water based base coat laps older solvent base coats and rhe clears have leaped older clears. I'd suggest you started looking at application instead of material. You get what you pay for with clear, and mil spec matters tremendously. Lesser painters will load up clear to hide sins they committed and that will certainly effect durability. I wish you'd stop trashing modern materials and body guys suggesting we can't repair these cars correctly. You're confusing hacks with body techs.
What's embarrassing is someone who can't simply comment their opinion and knowledge without belittling someone and coming off as a condensing.... I have no problem with being proven wrong or learning otherwise I wouldn't be here. I thank you for your perspective and knowledge but if you're going to continue to watch my channel and comment within the community then I ask that you have some class, otherwise just chose to stop watching my channel since apparently I don't know what I am talking about anyways. Thanks.
Get rid of the stickers and make it yours man. Awesome car man turn it infamous
Bad ass Pony. The color is out of this world. Great job!
This car stands out in a crowd and commands attention!! The color is magnificent! It is very well put together for a Saleen Clone... Once of the best that I have personally seen!
Definitely keep the stripes on the car it’s beautiful and puts the SALEEN theme together
Ya they've definitely grown on me. I think with the Sterns it would finish it off perfectly.
I would not be afraid to drive whenever I felt like driving it ! I would enjoy it too the fullest . 🇺🇲🇵🇷🦊👍
Absolutely Incredible!👑🏆
That car is definitely my favorite

That's an incredible color !!!
Sterns 3 Piece wheels would really set it off!👑
That orange tree looks pretty ripe my guy haha The blue is amazing.
Cool car 😎😎!! Love the Sonic Blue color!! One of my favorites colors.
That car sounds awesome and the paint is absolutely on point!
wow ...that 4k footage is awesome .... wish everyone would do that ... lol..... wicked ride!!!!!!!
Ha... it takes up lots of storage and takes forever to upload but it does make things look great! Especially in the right lighting.

Beautiful notch!! Keep the Saleen stripes!!
Awesome video Chris! I enjoy hearing the stories and history behind these cars you have. I’am from Canada and can relate to all the comments you have on Canadian foxbody’s.
Stickers are growing on me. If your bud likes them?! I say leave’em. Blue my fav color lol
That car is freaking gorgeous 😍
Absolutely love this car

Jesus she's a gorgeous Saleen clone
Love that car !!!
I'm not a "blue" car guy but this car looks 👌 🔥
Awesome collection
I want SO badly to turn my 92 Calypso lx 5.0 into a Saleen clone . That Sonic Blue looks fkn sick on a Fox.
Keep those stripes, the really look great!
This car is stunning. I would definitely leave the bottom Saleen graphics on. Stern wheels in silver to match the graphics would put this already beautiful coupe over the top.
Agreed man 👍
I think if you keep the stripe, the wheels that are on it really suit it. But your right. The paint colour is a nice blue and looks great!
Have you thought about Halo headrests? they really add to that Saleen look..btw i love the Saleen graphics, looks great with that blue.
Keep the Saleen graphics that looks so awesome

Does two rides on the garage looks Unique man
I like a full solid color car. But she looks good like it is. Leave the stripes on.
I’m more interested in your car cover.. where did you get that cover from. Fits a fox perfect
I vote to keep the stripes 👍
Chris that car needs those three piece sterns.
Yea needs them in 18" for sure.
Keep it the way it looks. It looks sick as #ell. I wouldn't change a thing in terms of its appearance.
My bad , I meant Sonic blue
I always love when a mustang is wearing it's factory paint colors, but my logic doesn't work when it's a factory paint color from a later model and it looks as good as this does in saleen trim. I think even Saleen himself would have went with this color if it was available at the time. Looks perfect.
Keep the stickers it looks the part and looks great not to mention the sticker package is expensive.
Fair enough!
I kinda dig it because I don't see many.
Cadillac calipers?
God that's a beautiful car! Where could I get the white saleen gauge overlay on KM/H?
Not sure where he got it.. Keep in mind it is a fake and not even the correct SALEEN font.
I like the stickers! But it’s not my car so it’s your buddy’s decision! Either way still a wicked car
Keep the stripes kit 👍👍
Keep the Saleen Stickers and what is the brand of the Black Mesh 4 lug wheels that were on the floor in this video?
So many cars so little time. That raspberry one with Borbets is prolly the nicest looking imo but it's finished. Been waiting for the Cobra fix up...that has to be one of the most potential for high value foxes no?
Yep it is for sure. Once the Calypso is back from paint the cobra goes in
@@TheInfamousProject That'll be sweet.
I wouldn't change a thing on this car other than to get the T5 out of it before it goes lol.
Keep the sticker package. It looks great.
Wouldnt a hydraulic TO set up fix all the clutch issues?
KEEP the stickers!!
Niiiiiiiiiccccceeee
Those are Cadillac ATS Brembo brakes, they have a conversion kit that fits the SN cars…
I’m pretty sure drew said they where the caddy brembos up front.
I actually have a set in my shop here, I'll have to take a look and see if they're the same.
Keep the Stripes!!! Especially if he is trying to keep the Saleen look
Things a beast! You can tell its just barely manageable in 1/2nd gear.
Keep the stickers :)
Chris, something I always wondered. Is the Saleen wing for the coupe actually made coupe specific or is it the hatchback wing?
They are specific.. You can make a hatch wing fit a coupe/vert but you can't go the other way.
They are two different wings, one for cpupe one for hatch. At least thats how i remember them being sold back then
Where can I find the Saleen parts?
What are you looking for? The Saleen location here in Round Rock Texas can get you just about anything you need
I love the shit out of this car!!! Just add borbets
Lol
Please sell me some of those blue headlights 🙏🏼
Keep the stickers
Cool mustang, how much?
LOL.. Not really for sale but cash talks!
Super nice, unique car, a very tastful tribute. $$$??
Good question, what's it worth?
@@TheInfamousProject heck I'll make a guestimation and $40k ish is my guess.

@@TheInfamousProject an alacantara wheel would be nice agreed. The stock T5 and no ac would be a bummer.
@@TheInfamousProject btw when or if your friend gets bored of this one, keep me in mind. I’d be interested.
Keep it the Saleen look but 18's.
Which 18's are you thinking?
@@TheInfamousProject I love the Sterns in 18's. Gun metal 5 spoke, polished lip and the bolts all around.
I’d keep the stripes and the wheels for sure.

lose the stripes, not a fan of tribute cars. chrome wheels would look great
On board With losing the stripes. But is loss the body kit as well.
Without the stripes, it's too much blue. Way, way, too much.
