Went down a Magic the Gathering rabbit hole

Hey all long time no see. Life has been busy baby is getting bigger and I got a promotion at work so my days got longer but here I show you the beginning of my Magic rabbit hole I've been on and the journey of building some fun card lots to sell on ebay.

The card with phyrexian text is sheoldred. I believe it is one of the hits from that set.

5:26 That's an $85 card. Best card in the set. The English version is worth slightly more. Sad that the rarer treatment is a fake language that deflates its value.

ice age and fallen empires are far more valuable as sealed product. there's really nothing of value in either of the sets (though i love both for nostalgic reasons and the art is great). there's virtually no way to recoup value by opening them even if you get every hit. selling individual packs is the slowest way, but you will make the most money that way.
in fact, i would have kept that dominaria collectors box sealed and waited a few years to sell.

@@pievancl5457 thanks for watching. That's the idea about the ice age and f empires. I'm selling them as sealed packs paired up with each other and other sealed packs and a bunch of loose cards in big bundle lots. One down 35 to go

I had exactly the same thought! I'm sad there's so little value inside Fallen Empires and Ice Age because I enjoy the sets so much!
