thank you for the video! I just bought a small crystal from a street vendor that the vendor said was caribbean calcite. i know nothing about crystals, but my mom is a gemologist and also loves the beach, so the crystal seemed perfect for her. i pulled up your video to get more info on caribbean calcite and now that im looking at it, it's 100% sky blue calcite! it's completely opaque and the brown on the bottom is more a dark greyish brown than the light sandy color you showed. it's also cut with 6 sides. i was so excited to give my mom such a wonderful beach crystal, but hopefully she'll still like it since it is a very pretty crystal, just mislabeled by the vendor.

Thank you! ❤️ the kitties are all doing great and getting along perfectly, but I’m definitely a little nervous about transitioning them into a new place

Love this video - very helpful!! I'm wondering if you can please break down more of why Caribbean Calcite and Pistachio Calcite are not the same?? Are they really different minerals? I thought Caribbean Calcite was a trade name for the iconic blue and beachy colors and Pistachio Calcite was also a trade name for a more green version of the same mineral? I'm just trying to understand what the difference is because I have a "caribbean calcite" sphere that is more on the green side but looks pretty much the same as Caribbean Calcite. Would appreciate your thoughts, thank you so much!!

Caribbean calcite & pistachio calcite aren’t different minerals, just trade names for the slightly different colored calcites! They’re both mined from Pakistan too, so they’re found very close to each other so it’s normal for Caribbean calcite to sometimes be more on the green side. There’s no science behind distinguishing Caribbean from pistachio, it’s just based on the color. Glad you enjoyed the video! 🩵🩵
