Hip Hop’s iconic sweethearts Waka Flocka Flame and his fiery wife Tammy Rivera have been through it all. They have each survived childhoods shook by murder, violence and drugs... only to find each other, fall in love, and begin building a successful life together. From home renovations, juggling Tammy’s bustling music career, parenting their teenage daughter Charlie, and meddling in-laws..navigating marriage has become their biggest hurdle yet. Waka and Tammy have swapped roles and the power struggle is real!
She can be emotionally vulnerable with Waka than her Mother. I see the difference!! Hes a good Father and girls need to be emotionally supported!! Its a need for young ladies and women.
Absolutely!!!
@J bless I totally agree with you 💯 I was watching it on TV 📺and crying 😢right along with them when I see people cry it makes me cry 😢to
Yesssss Charlie is cancer we are very emotional

So much!!!!
When he said, "You're my breath" 😭😭😭❤
That was beautiful ❤️

I thought he said you're my little brat loop
I melted when he said that 😩🥺😭

LOL I love Deb, she hates to cry but is ALWAYS the first to cry with Charlie lol. Too cute.
yes
Lol so true
She is very very emotional
... She is more open and vulnerable with Waka
Yea, because Tammy heart is cold lol...she downplays Charlie's feelings and gets upset with her when she gets emotional. I can't fault Tammy, she was raised to not show emotion and be hard, but that doesn't mean she has to raise her daughter the same way.
they have a great connection
@@MultiSassy84 yea tammy is very emotionally disconnected & she like that wit everyone not just her daughter. that woman has been through a lot of bad.
@@MultiSassy84 I totally agree with you 💯 but Charlie and Walker

No fr like cry! 😂
Yeah but i blame her mom for that
@@janieshaboykin9525 But she's grown and has a daughter of her own now she should've been went to therapy for that can't blame your parents when your a grown ass adult
Perfect comment
@@tiesharose8203 "Therapy" just became a Social Norm in the black community sis... Back in her time she couldn't "just go to therapy"... Plus alot of people don't have any knowledge of Therapy AT ALL or its benefits ... Alot of people believe "this just the way life goes 🤷🏾 only the strong survive" if the FAMILIES pathology is to "JUST DEAL WITH IT" then I'm not surprised at how emotionally stunted Tammy is... It's deeper than what you saying...
As black people we have to get more comfortable expressing our feelings, it's OK to be vulnerable. I just feel like on a generational level we're use to holding everything in. I think it goes back to slavery, our voices was taken away from us. It's time to speak up and use our voices.
Beauty In J, that is soooooo true because I find myself holding in my Feelings especially when I'm vulnerable or hurting, thinking that I appear stronger..When I actually want to cry or be comforted. What a revelation, thank you for your comment God Bless you Sis keep telling the TRUTH..🙏❤🙏

They are what a father daughter relationship should look like
Its really a blessing when you have a husband who loves your child like his own BIG UPS TO WAKA
I really like them all. It's just Tammy seems 2 be so over Charlie's tears... But did we not forget when Tammy was in a corner on the floor of her closet on one of the old episodes balling her eyes out? Every body have to cry sometimes 🤷🏼
Exactly
That’s rare for Tammy to break down like that though ... Charlie is very spoiled and bratty and has a smart mouth of the time and if she’s not acting like that then she’s crying about something and one of tammys issues w Charlie is that she doesn’t want her to be like that !!! Charlie hasn’t even hit the real world yet and acts like she’s gonna crumble to pieces over the smallest things Tammy wants her to be stronger than that and she says that all the time she even had said it in front of the therapist on the episode she knows her daughter has it in her to be stronger than the bullshit that she cry’s about and the things that shit she does that she knows isn’t right ... yea Tammy could be a little bit better emotionally but at the same time Tammy does need some tough love and someone to be more stern w her
@@validcollection3421 You know why Charlie is acting this way? Its called being a damn teen. Its called first experiences. Charlie still has a lot to experience in this world. She. Is. A. Teen. For crying out loud. This is a crucial time in a human beings life REGARDLESS of what you think, its fuckin science. Tammy wouldn't be having those emotional breakdowns if she just expressed herself and CRIED. One minute Charlie is "too grown" and the next she's "actin like a brat" like pick a fuckin side. When she grows up and experiences things, she will build that strength Tammy has. Holding in emotions can be detrimental to her mental health and that shit will follow her for a LONG long time. There's a reason why kids don't talk to their parents during college and I'm here to tell you, this is one of those reasons.
@@validcollection3421 u mean charlie.... last sentence u said tammy
@@miichelle19 I agree with you both. I understand that Tammy doesn’t want her daughter to be weak and breaking down over every little thing. I also agree with you that she’s a teen and if this is how she need to express herself and get her frustration out then she should be allowed to do so. For me, when things have piled up and I feel really bad it’s nothing like a good cry to get all my frustration out. Once I’m done I’m ready to face the world and I feel stronger. We’re all wired differently and she shouldn’t be criticized so harshly for being who she is.
What a beautiful blessing . Charlie was very brave to ask him to ADOPT her❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Charlie is his baby!!!! That man loves her more than life.
He is her ROCK! That baby knows if NO ONE has her HE(Her DADDY) DOES!! AND THAT MEANS EVERYTHING to a young girl 🥰
Even though waka has his flaws we have to give it up for his mom Deb, for instilling great values in Waka.
Charlie is just an emotional person! I’m 26 & still the same way! It’s not our fault we be caring😭😭

I feel like Tammy is jealous of waka and Charlie’s relationship sometimes the fact that Charlie can have the courage to be vulnerable openly and how waka embraces her because she doesn’t have the strength to be who she really is
I was thinking the same thing as I watched it. Low key seemed jealous
You right ✅
it came off like Tammy was confused as to where she was going with everything she was saying....
I think she's moreso jealous of Charlie. Charlie has everything Tammy wanted when she was a kid, including a father/daughter relationship. That's why she stay throwing her childhood struggles in Charlie's face. As if its Charlie's fault that Tammy grew up poor. It's a sad dynamic.
@@KayDivine even after she did it Tammy still looked like wtf
Awwww so freaking sweet. We already know he’s going to say yes. That’s beautiful

I tell u waka is the best dad she can ever imagine having he's been apart of her life all her life an im so happy for her to have him in her life God bless u Waka I hope u adopt her omg yall make me cry every time I see yall together.
I'm not entirely sure how Tammy's mom raised her, but it seems like either she was taught or past trauma made her to not be emotional and vulnerable. She doesn't show her feelings and feels like everyone else shouldn't either.
Tammy mom didnt raise her, she battled with addiction when Tammy and her siblings were younger so the tough exterior is something she has had to have and its not easy to shake trust me I know.. And yes we can forget to be gentle and empathetic to our children that we actually stick around to raise and guard them from pain and struggle that life surely was handed to us.. It's almost second nature of survival and then going into battle that we forget to remove the shields for our babies.. It's hard, I'm a mom of 5, four being girls and I've heard the same pleas that Charlie has with Tammy from my daughters.. I listened but it was difficult and I'm still learning although they are all grown now.
She should have asked in private instead of putting him on the spot. Anyways she’s lucky to have him, I’m glad he was on the same page.
Agree
Being her father is his spot...i hate that it was edited as if he hesitated to answer her...thats his daughter and a piece of paper is not going to change that

She wants Charlie to be more guarded because she doesn’t want her to feel the type of emotional pain that she has gone through with Waka.
I really love Waka & Charlie relationship he truly loves her unconditionally and shows her how she should be treated. He has always put her 1st and been a phenomenal dad to her blood or not that’s his daughter and can’t no one tell him different‼️
Growing out without parents this video was very touchy. I felt her pain. Super sweet.
If I was able to be vulnerable and more open with my father we’d definitely be in a better space . It’s so important to have emotional support from our parents. This is beautiful 👏🏼💯
He has been her father from day one, he raised her n taken care of her. Gb u n their family

His such a great dsd to her especially not his biological daughter n u wouldn’t even know it if u didn’t know them and such a loyal husband it’s so rare to find this type of man
I love how emotional she is with him. She deserves that🧡
Now Charlie got me crying watching this.
aweeee omg This was so beautiful I knew it was coming 🥺🥺🥺♥️
Awkward moment felt like an hour pause. Wishing Charlie the best. God bless.
Personally jealous that’s silly I know Tammy is happy to have someone like Waka to help her raise such a beautiful daughter inside and out. Tammy was in shock that’s all. Charlie is a daddy’s girl and she wants Waka to be legally her dad. 😍
Jealous she is because one he treats her better than he treats his own wife and my step mom the same way
Wow Waka was surprised just like Tammy was...Both of them didn’t know she felt the way she’s feeling
@@rsmith6903 that’s a lie. Over the years as Charlie and Waka gotten close you seen Tammy shut Charlie down multiple times. It wasn’t just this occasion. Charlie has always been comfortable going to Waka to talk about how she feels or even his mom. He listens to her and doesn’t judge her . Tammy just brushes it under the rug and tells her to man up . You can’t do that with every situation that little girl is feeling. That’s why Charlie went to therapy with Tammy because she knows she can’t be emotionally connected to her . It’s always been like that. Tammy has gotten jealous by how close Charlie and Waka are now but she should’ve seen it coming through those years when all she did was push her daughter away. Waka even called Tammy out on that a few times. Charlie’s dad abandoned her . What she supposed to do? Thank God for Waka because if he wasn’t in her life Charlie would’ve drove herself mad at such a young age.
Thank u she was jus confused on what was happening bcus charlie didn't tell any1 her plan until she gave waka the cake. Tammy was clearly teary eyed but i notice with tammy when she sees charlie cry she gets super protective bcus she herself has cried a lot. Some1 mentioned earlier that charlie is a cancer so shes gonna b very emotional throughout her life which will b a challenge for Tammy but if they get some therapy then maybe she can find a way to let charlie express her feelings without holding her back
@@cambridgeconcierge662 I guess that’s the way you took it. I agree she’s a daddy girl and yes Tammy is hard on Charlie. I don’t agree with some of her approaches. However Tammy is trying to prepare Charlie for the real world. No one is going to pat you on the back for nothing. We live in a cold hearted world. Any who much ❤️
Awww Charlie 😢 This Was Beautiful 🤗
Our Father is very similar to Waka 🙏…. We would not change him for the world… Love you Dad 💯💯
I felt that. Blessed that I have a husband that loves his Step Children like Waka. Father's matter so much! Everyone want a good father in their life. I'm happy to see that moment for them. Absolutely beautiful ❤️
That touched my soul
Man. Waka and Charlies relationship is so special
She making me cry, because they have such a beautiful relationship. Every time she cries he’s right there
That's sweet. I dont think Tammie is jealous of their relationship. I think her feelings was a little hurt because Charlie said he was the best person, taught her confidence . I sure Tammy knows the reason he loves Charlie is because he loves Tammy. Also Tammi my not have had a relationship with her father. From personal experience when you see a loving father daughter relationship, you become aware the of void in your heart. It brings up that emptiness.🥺🥺🥺
Very well said
Bought tears to my eyes. That is his daughter. Blood sometimes don't mean nothing.
I love Charlie❤️❤️❤️😩 She brings out the best of the emotional moments in the show and literally brings everyone to tears🤦🏾♀️ Charlie, is someone special frfr😇😇

Waka should chalk this up as one of his greatest accomplishments! Great job Waka Flocka! That's what being a man is all about! Che bello!
The only thing I can’t stand about Tammy is that she doesn’t really let Charlie cries it out, like it’s okay to let it out at times. That’s why she’s always talk to wake about everything.
Waka you are a real man Charlie is so blessed to have you in her life. That truly is your God given child.I love to see you and Tammie together and taken your marriage to another level God bless y’all 🙏🏾 I appreciate and love looking at your show hate to see it go off so soon.More,More please thank you 🙏🏾
Once again, Tammy is not supportive to Charlie... you can tell Charlie is more comfortable around waka... do better Tammy
Exactly
I wish she gets help because it’s a struggle to see her do this baby like this. She has a wall up and I’m sure it’s connected to Charlie’s father. She acts like she can’t separate the two and needs help. She seems to be happiest when the focus is on her only. Charlie is a sweet child and her mom seems to hate it
how do you know she’s not supportive just because she’s more emotional with wake? do you live with them or do you just see a clip from a show child, y’all kill me thinking y’all know these people.
@@muhall8135
There’s countless videos of her doing this though 🤷🏽♀️ So it makes more sense to you to think on TELEVISION she’s cold towards her daughter but off air she’s not? So, she treats her daughter funny style for ratings? 🤷🏽♀️ Guess you also missed the countless videos of her friends and family telling her to stop doing Charlie like that or telling her to listen more and be nicer to her child. Guess you also can’t read faces either because Waka makes a face EVERY TIME she does something to Charlie. Deb does too. Guess what she does when her folks tell her? She waves it off and says “I don’t care about all that” Sometimes it’s really a duck especially if you heard and saw it quacking 😂 While you’re capping for an ADULT; Charlie is a CHILD
actually.. very much closer with my mother cause she been the only woman in my life that i can depend on ... NO she does not need help !! so stop saying that my mother has been through a lot .. SHE FINE THE WAY SHE IS !! stop disrespecting my mother pretending.. ugh think y’all know everything

Wake coming in to Charlie's life is the best thing ever for her and Tammy Wake is the best for them both, he's so special, love ya'll as a family. ❤
Let me add insight to Tammy, when you grow up in Baltimore City, there is nothing else to do but to be tough. That city is not for the weak.... as parents we do the best that we know how with what we have been giving. There are no rules to parenting. Their parenting skills are like ying and yang which provides a blend, which is actually needed. Father's are generally more emotionally vulnerable with their female kids. Would tammy benefit from therapy absolutely, a lot of us would, on the flip side coming from where we come from, you have no choice but to be built ford tough which is why i get Tammy with certain things. She doesn't want her daughter to have that snobbish im rich bish attitude, she wants to prepare her for the actual real world because people can be vultures. She is a wonderful parent through it all either way, so stop it!
That’s just a her thing. I’m from Baltimore as well and that’s not a Baltimore thing. I get that she wants to parent her child a certain way but you can do that while still showing some compassion.
Girl. IM FROM DETROIT. That’s somewhere tough frfr! N it’s most definitely different ways for her to teach her the “real world”. I would never make my child feel like they can’t come to me because 9times outta 10 idgaf.
People that just responded to your comment gave you a prime example. It’s not where tf you come from, that’s just what type of person she is what I’ll never get is she cries over waka. An get pissed when Charlie is vulnerable. An can’t drop one damn tear smdh🤦🏾♀️ Charlie a damn child. I could never to that my daughter. I love her to much. Stop giving people excuses @1Crystyles1
