That version isn't the "hot" Easton. You need the SCX3. There is also the SCN3 and SCN9 that were very good. The SCX14 was known for being a bit of a dud. The bats from this era are designed for 44/375's which ASA used to use. They also took over a thousand hits to break in using those balls. A more interesting comparison would be with a bat mentioned above with lots of wear and tear. That being said, I still think the modern tech will beat an old ASA bat that is fully broken in and it is a little silly that they are still banned. A lot of those bats back then got really crazy good when they developed small cracks. That would be more of a fair comparison performance wise...😄
@@wolfpacbatreviews yeah, the SCX14 is a bit of a turd. These bats mainly got banned because they just wouldn't break, and they would start to exceed the performance limits. Back in the day a NIW SCN3 or SCX3 would go for a $1000 or more.
@@wolfpacbatreviews those were all meant to hit 44/375 or 44/400, which would just explode an m5, that being said, that is definitely not the best bat in the synergy series. Some of those old bats will go all the way down below 150 compression
That is true, but the Bat companies in the leagues get together and they won’t let you use all Bats ….I have been a Bat collector for 25 years and nowadays they only go like five years maybe a few more and then they change standards so the Bat companies are making money all the time I’ve been playing ball since 1980 and I still play Senior Softball ….. just remember, the balls are made for the bats for nowadays and the old days you have to use the correct ball for the year the bat and it does take 1000 swings for the Easton Bats Break in … I am from Minnesota, where Miken Change the world of Softball from aluminum to composite….
Again glad to see Wolfpac back. The extended was ban when Asa was using 44 core 375 compression softballs. In 2012 Asa/Usa switched to 52 core 300 comp. I will agree with you guys this bat was not even that great with the 44 core balls. Fun video to watch.
It’s got over 1000 easily, a small seam was starting to form at the bottom of the barrel, it’s seen its days. Didn’t perform with 52/300’s, not sure why it’s still on the banned bat list!
When the original grey ultra came out nobody knew composite bats kept getting hotter. All of a sudden everyone was dropping bombs. That got banned pretty quick

That’s good to know thanks! The hunt will start for a more credible banned bat and see what that looks like 👀

Yesss the green synergy was disgusting

Yeah it seems that they like banning certain bats just to keep people purchasing new ones sometimes… thanks for your insight!
My old Easton Extended SCX3 hits 52/300 balls twenty feet farther than my Monsta.
Sounds like that’s the Easton model we should be going after next fs 🔥
I see evil yellow and orange 52+ but i also see white and orange, are those bp rockets? Or do my eyes deceive me
The Easton red extended was the good one the easton in this video was trash
Exactly.
So we hear 👀 might have to start lookin for one to test
Yes, redo your video with a ton of other bat options.

Totally makes sense, I forget it wasn’t always 52/300’s! Crazy how it’s still on a banned bat list 2 decades later for clearly no good reason 😆
@@wolfpacbatreviews yeah I would definitely get some of the harder balls .44 cor and then compare it. .44 with the Easton .52’s with the MONSTA
Hottest bat right now is the combat. I love monsta but there usssa arent very good.
We have yet to swing one of Monstas usssa bats, we’ll have to get more u trip on the channel 🤘🏼
One the best bats of all time Easton synergy. If you ever swung one you know what I'm talking about
About that… 😆
The Easton was a nice bat but the miken Freak is the greatest bat ever made.
Say what 👀 which model, we might have to start hunting
44’s were used in ASA. These bats were great for 44’s not 52’s
Wild that it’s still on the USA/ASA banned list 20 years later!
You gotta get the green synergy
Apparently there are a couple we gotta get 👀
Gotta try the rip it reaper with the .44 core balls. Still the hottest bat I ever swung.
We don’t do much u trip, might have to look into it!
The rip it reaper was asa.
that synergy is not broken in at all they take over 1000 hits to get game ready

Trying to see a Proton Hot Butter Video 👀
Okay we’ll have to see what we can do to get our hands on one 👀
Back when Easton sucked. That bat was so hyped up but I never liked it. The Miken og freak was king
That right there is a bat of legends 🔥
When the original grey ultra came out nobody knew composite bats kept getting hotter. All of a sudden everyone was dropping bombs. That got banned pretty quick
Hey guys from that year Easton Bats, the balls were 44-375 balls You have to use the correct balls thanks 😀🥎
Correct, what’s crazy is why it’s still on the USA banned bat list 20 years later when new balls (52/300) are being used
