Little engines of the North and South take centre stage at Bluebell Railway's branchline gala, 21st-23rd April 2023.
Featuring:
No.72 'Fenchurch' LBSCR Terrier
No.11243 Pug
No.52322 L&YR A class
'Hastings' Manning Wardle tank
No.65 SECR O1
No.80151 Standard 4 Tank
I don't usually release videos just of the trains running, and don't boast the best videography compared to other channels, but I ran around to so many places with friends during the weekend that I thought there was enough footage to warrant its own video. Despite the rain, we trekked to many new lineside locations and all in all it was a fantastic weekend.

It's amazing to see Fenchurch back In service
Yes it is wellcom back fenchurch
It's not the same if it's painted in improved engine green. I miss Marsh Umber.
Oh, my word! I was there yesterday, too! Could only get a platform ticket, though. All the same, it was absolutely fantastic! So great to see not only visitors to the line, but also a fully-working Terrier locomotive - there’s nothing more fitting than to see a tank locomotive of that design operating along Bluebell metals!
Great to see No.. 65 is still steaming well...
The train 🚉 that escaped the scrapper's torch in a unique way.. 👍🏻
This was the definition of north meets south. Seems like a good gala and if we could see more style of this video I really enjoyed it
I saw Fenchurch pulling a train I had to click, glad to see her in steam!
Lovely showcase of locos in all shapes and sizes in action. Would’ve loved to have been there.
Still not sure if I like Fenchurch in Improved Engine Green. Hopefully they repaint it in Marsh Umber a few years down the line.
Great video, Max!
6:03-6:44
All I can see is
"Peep Peep! Stop!! Stop!!
"Hurry, Hurry, Hurry!"
"You can't get away, you can't get away!"

That first engine I believe is a L&YR class 27 my personal head cannon locomotive for James since there's no class 28s around anymore I think.
There is something very relaxing about sitting and just watching trains for half an hour 😌
For all dog lovers out there
THE QUEEN IS BACK IN SERVICE
Now we just need stepney back in service
Very nice clips from the Bluebell railway's branch line gala, looks like it was a good event. :)

When someone with a large bank balance comes along. She needs a lot of work
@kinetic .rail but is in't on going funraser to restor the engine back in to working oder??? and also stepney and fenchurch are shed maitis so shorly the bluebell railway in planing to restor stepney rigth????
@@MaxTheKiller1915 not that I have ever heard of. She may be done in the future but as I say there's a lot of work to be done if she was to run again
@kinetic .rail ok yes stepney dos need a lot of work to restor him back in to steam but if flying scosman can run after 10 years in the works then the railway can restor stepney back to work
@@MaxTheKiller1915 oh yes I agree nothing is impossible it just takes a lot of money that the bluebell may need to spend on a loco more suited to the day to day running of thier line
